Little Mermaid FASTPASS! [for Hotel guests]

I kid you not, I found this on Disneyland.com:

Stay at one of the 3 Disneyland Resort Hotels from June 3 to September 5, 2011 and receive 2 FASTPASS tickets for each person in your travel party, per stay. Use your ticket to dive in to The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure, blast off with the newly re-imagined Star Tours, or ride other FASTPASS attractions. Separate theme park admission required.


Offer includes two (2) Disney's FASTPASS tickets for each registered guest (ages 3 and older) per Disneyland Resort hotel reservation for arrivals from June 3, 2011 through September 5, 2011. Separate theme park admission is required. Each of these Disney's FASTPASS tickets will allow a guest one (1) entrance to the Disney's FASTPASS return line of any Disney's FASTPASS attraction at the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks or one (1) entrance to a specially created, limited-time Disney's FASTPASS return line for The Little Mermaid~Ariel's Undersea Adventure attraction. Tickets are valid June 3, 2011 through September 11, 2011.

I'd love to know this about the Little Mermaid FASTPASS:
1. Where will the line be? It's going to be crazy around the building w/o an additional FP queue.
2. Will there be limited hours to this FP line? I'd guess it'd be just a few hours a day.
3. Will there be FASTPASS for non-Disney hotel guests?
4. Do folks staying at GC DVC villas get to partake?

It could be possibly a "cut the line" if you use it for Mermaid. Just a guess

1-yes, expect a line..it will be hugely crazy! i saw the CM preview this weekend, and hords of park guests got in line caue they thought it was open.. it was crazy busy!!

2-limited hours? i don't know, i don't think anybody knows till they actaully see the ticket

3-there has been no mention of a fast pass for non disney guests..i saw the queue for LMR already, i didn't see ANY FP machines!

4-ok the DVC is not my area so i will say i don't know...

Its about time that they start giving some kind of perks to the visitors that spend mucho bucks to stay in a hotel that they most likely will spend little time in, cause their at the parks all day. I love the Idea, will I be staying there to get it, Wish I could

It'll probably just work like the HMH FastPass that gets you past the main part of the line.

so the queue for LMR is not that bad, i saw both sides this weekend and then you get right into the building and load the clam shells right away..and yes they loaded FAST!!

How many guests typically stay in a Disney Hotel? How many fastpasses per attraction are typically issued? The answer to these questions will give an idea as to just how much of an effect this perk will have. Note that it's two fastpasses per stay, not per day, so I suspect the overall effect will be minimal no matter what.

A nice perk for the big-spending hotel guests, that won't affect everyone else all that much. Even if every hotel guest opts to use their Fastpass at Mermaid, it's still a high-capacity attraction and the effect on everyone else's wait time should be minimal.

does the omnimover load like the haunted mansion with the moving walkway loading you or do they stop each clam separately then load you in

Im guessing like THM. That way it loads guests much faster, also since it doesnt have the stretch room and all, it will load faster than the haunted mansion.

No, I believe its only for TLM and ST. I could be wrong though.
