With this being the big launch for ST, TLM, and Soundsational I was just wondering if anyone knew of or had seen any kind of event schedule for ribbon cuttings, special guests, or anything else that might be happening at the parks on June 3rd.

Nothing huh?
I read somewhere that TLM was opening on the 2nd at 9:30am, and ST2 on the 3rd, but I can't find where I saw that. I'll keep looking.
update: Disney’s California Adventure Park « Disney Parks Blog
okay, they both open on the 3rd... I sent an e-mail with specific questions.

I was told by guest relations that Mermaid will have a dedication on the 2nd, but will only be open to press and media that day.
Star Tours officially opens the 3rd and Soundsational will already be playing a week earlier.
Here's the schedule of events that we were provided for our app:
Thursday, June 2
3:30pm, Paradise Pier: The Little Mermaid Grand Opening Ceremony
Expect a big production stage number for this official opening.
6:30pm, Main Street USA: Mickey's Soundsational Parade Media Debut
Only one parade today, to enable media in Town Square to photograph the parade, followed by...
7:00pm, Tangaroa Terrace, Disneyland Hotel
The Disneyland Hotel Re-Imagineering Cocktail Party for the media, celebrating the renovation of the hotel.
Friday, June 3
9:30am, Star Tours, Tomorrowland
Another big production stage number is scheduled for the official opening of Star Tours 2.
11:00am, Cars Land, at Pacific Wharf
A media presentation is scheduled to reveal "What's Next?" in Disney California Adventure.

Thanks Rongo!
My e-mail to the park also asked when gates will be open to line up and stuff. I'll update if I hear anything.![]()
Awesome! Thanks
I wonder if the general area will be roped off for the Ariel ceremony, anyone know? They can't shut down the park...Could someone like me, like stand in the distance and see it all transpire? Will Bob Iger, George Lucas, and the C-3PO guy be there? I need details, people!![]()

"Second star to the right and straight on 'till morning."
"Adventure is out there!"
22 times to Disneyland in one year, personal record.
(Save the Disneyland Hotel Waterfalls too!)
I actually did ask that very question, since my friend wants to get there at 4AM.
Could be a week till I get an answer, per the guidelines in the acknowledgment they did send me, but I will post it as soon as I see something.
And I now have an answer. I called the park and found out... the park will be treating the day like any other for the public. The Mickey and Friends parking will open at 7AM (one hour before opening at 8AM), and the bridge to get in from the Disneyland Way exit will open at that time as well. No early parking.
Sorry boss, I wish I had a better answer, but that's what they told me. Maybe you could do like I'm doing, and get a hotel across the way so you can enter the moment the gates on Harbor open up. A place on property would probably be even better.
