    Disneyland mice

No I don't mean the six foot tall ones. I mean the little field mice that seem to be everywhere in the park. I was at club buzz where my son was feeding the birds some of his sandwich. The mice are so aggressive that they attack the birds to get some bread! I must have counted fifteen of them as I was sitting next to the old people mover station. The mice are so tame you can practically pick them up. How come the cats don't visit tomorrowland?

I don't really know too much about the health codes, but if the mouse problem (and no not the ones that walk around in clothes and are corporate icons) is really that bad, don't you think that the health department or Disney Management should do something about it?

Isn't there a cat that's occasionally seen around the park? I believe I had heard about it at some point in the past...

WDW has more interesting animals that get into the parks... armadillos at least hang around outside the park (if not in it), those little lizards are everywhere, and I once saw a baby gator in Frontierland/Liberty Square area hanging about in the river all day.

There are cats all over DL and DCA, maybe the mice attack them too!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

I'm not sure if I would be charmed or creeped out seeing a pack of 15 mice defending Disney turf. Figaro and friends need to get busy.

I've seen the cats in DL, but where in DCA have they been spotted? Its not like there's very much flora for them to hide out in.

If there isn't much flora for them to hide in, thats probably why they are not there.

We saw a grey cat walking along the tracks behind the restrooms in NOS on sunday. Didn't look too hungry.

    Re: Disneyland mice

Well, the way that people tend to be I'm sure that the cats are fed from the tables with whatever isn't eaten. Therefore I could see why the mice population is getting out of hand. The cats just arn't hungry enough for them...

There is a family of cats that lives next to the Test Pilot grill in DCA. The live under the train. It's lots of fun to feed and pet them.

I have been to DLR many times (almost weekly) and I have never seen one mouse. Cats, yes.
