Cool Veteran Rider Vote: The new Mermaid or Star Tours 2.0? Which is better?

Only vote when you've had a chance to ride on both new attractions, please.

Which one did you like better, and why?

Eventhough I have not gone on either, I know I will still choose ST because I am biased like that. Star Wars is awesome. I also like TLM too, but star wars is way cooler imo.

I haven't been on TLM yet, but I did ST yesterday and I have a really hard time imagining that TLM is going to top it. I can't wait to ride it though!

Adding: From a purely financial standpoint, I would definitely say that TLM was money better spent. It will be a big draw for DCA, and DCA definitely needs the crowd. ST is a nice addition to Dland, but they don't necessarily need the draw as much as DCA does, particularly since we're still a year out from Carsland. It's a smart move to launch TLM to fill the gap before Carsland.

I have been on both, and they're both very nicely done, but I jumped right back into line for Star Tours, and was ok waiting to ride TLM again until after it's officially opened.

Interesting! And you're the first veteran to post a reaction to both rides on Micechat, way to go.

I've only seen videos, so I really should have no say yet. If I had to choose though based on the videos, I would say Star Tours for sure. Not only am I a huge Star Wars geek, but I simply find the detail and re-ride-ability factor of it to be worth coming back over and over again. Undersea Adventure looks like it should be a lot of fun too, kind of like the park's stand-in for It's a Small World mixed with Snow White and Roger Rabbit.
Theatrical Roles: Various Roles (The Laramie Project), Fred (Oklahoma!), Oberon (Shakespeare in Hollywood), Hero (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), Valere (The Miser), Moonface Martin (Anything Goes), Thenardier/Laborer/Army Officer/Ensemble (Les Miserables), Franz (The Sound of Music), Tobias Ragg (Sweeney Todd), Tinman (The Wiz), Elles Dad/Winthrop/Ensemble (Legally Blonde), William Barfee/Leaf's Dad/Jesus Christ (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Fiddler on the Roof (Rabbi), The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (Muff Potter/Ensemble), Shrek the Musical (Lord Farquaad)
