Re: Coast-to-Coast Disney 2011 Trip Report: The Zany Adventures of The Brickers

^Ha, I was just kidding. I will again note that at this point, I was on 22 consecutive hours of being awake. The thing is, though, how can you NOT look giddy when you're at Disneyland?!!? I don't think you could have wiped that smile off my face even if you hit me in the face!

I agree! I have to admit I'm rather jealous of the whole experience. At my age, with my three kids, non-stop Disney-ing like that is a thing of the past. They expect me to let them sleep, and eat, and all that other selfish stuff.

Good times, Awesome shots...Makes me wish I could afford a good camera...I mean, I could, but, I'd have to stop feeding the kids, and the police look down on that for some reason. Let's get some more.

Don't get your hopes up on that. There are some things better left unsaid.

Thanks! I was very pleased with me results in NOS. I only wish I had more time back there. Oh well, there's always next time.

I'm still getting caught up from being out of town for the weekend. We have a new countertop being installed tomorrow, so it might not be until Friday. Sorry!

There are some really good low-budget cameras that, in the right hands, can do some amazing things. I started out with a Nikon D40, and I achieved some really high-quality shots with it. I use something nicer now, but knowledge is what makes the huge difference.

^ what he said. I searched one day for photos from Disneyland and I came across your Flickr page and that was all it took to get me started with my own photography. I don't come close to any of your amazing photos but both you and Annie Leibovitz are my two main influences.

Thank you!! GREAT advice! I think that's what makes your trip report (and your flickr stream -like all of your Yossarian and Walter E. Dogsney) so popular to read and see, because you're right its not just all about the parks. Static photos are great but its nice to see the 'human element' in photos.

Wonderful trip report Tom, great work!

I've been looking forward to this TR. I've read all of your past reports and I have enjoyed them all. They get me excited about getting to WDW someday and I even enjoy your perspectives on Disneyland even though I take my family there about twice a month.

Sounds like you guys landed your dream jobs? Or at least my dream jobs. Congratulations! Any openings? Hah.

I've seen your trip reports and photos a few times and likewise, I'm quite impressed. Great work! I hate to get all paparazzi on you, but how do you afford these trips (both time and money wise)? What's your day job? How did the two of you meet? You seem to have an idyllic life. Well, all the best, and I look forward to more photos.
