    First Aid Photos!!

One of the members of my party , the two year old banged her head waiting for Rapunzel so we went over to get ice... I havent been to First Aid maybe in about 20 years, they had some really great photos so I went ahead and snapped away and yes the 2 yr old was fine and she was off laughing and playing in no time and loved Ariels underwater adventure over at DCA..

    and Stickers for all!

I was KNOCKED OUT over near the Hungry Bear about two years ago and didn't get to go to First Aid. Disney only cares about kids getting hurt because they don't want negative press.

I wonder if those prints are available? I'd love to put them in my office at the elementary school.

this isnt true from my experience. My mom fell in NOS last year and a CM rushed over to her and ask her several times is she needed First Aid assistance.

I went to the first aid a few years ago when a CM at Innoventions ran over my foot with a Segway.

Did they offer anything to you? From the sounds of it you didn't sue them.

At first I wasn't going to go to First Aid at all, but as I walked I started getting a lot of pain in my foot, so I went and had it checked out. I did speak to one of the leads, but I didn't really want to get the CM in trouble. It was just one of those situations where I had come close to the CM, who didn't see me and turned my direction and ran over my foot. I talked to the lead and went to first aid only in case I had some problems down the road and there would have been documentation of the incident happening. My foot was fine, I didn't sue ... People are too sue crazy. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their own actions.

Great attitude! If only more people were like you, we'd still have a fun Tom Sawyer's Island.

The CMs are crazy nice when you get hurt, no matter what your age. I sprained my ankle going down the rain-drenched steps of NOS and as soon as a CM saw me fall, he came right over and asked if I was okay. When I got to the train to take it back to Main Street, they asked if I wanted a wheelchair waiting for me by the station.

    Re: First Aid Photos!!

So yeah, speaking of first aid, I just had a visit there this past monday (memorial day). I wanted to get to Disneyland early to get on Star Tours because I read it might be open. I overslept a little and woke up, took a shower, and then drove to Dland. So I got a fastpass for Star Tours and jumped in line when it was a 70min wait. The first part of the line was outdoors and even with the umbrellas, not enough shade, and I had not eaten or drank much water yet. After about 40min in line I started feeling light headed and I was thinking, I really want to ride Star Tours, should I tough it out? Then about 1 second later, I got tunnel vision and I was thinking "get out of line now and get to a drinking fountain" I remember taking a step to get out of line, then heard a lady say "are you feeling ok?" then I remember grabbing one of the poles for an umbrella and the next thing I remember I am on the ground in the line, and some guy is holding my neck. Turns out he is a doctor and he said my eyes rolled back in my head and I collapsed but he grabbed me so I didn't hit my head. They called for first aid and everyone started handing me their half empty water bottles. I was still a little out of it, but remember everyone in line staring at me on the ground and they were trying to find out who I was there with. I told them I was there by myself and that my cousin was on his way to meet me.

Then first aid showed up and got me in a wheelchair and took me to first aid. I even got to go back stage behind space mountain. After drinking a lot of juice and water, and getting ice packs, I started feeling better and layed down and waited for my cousin. When he got there, they did not want me to leave yet so I had my cousin go get me food and we ate lunch at first aid, lol. After eating I felt 100% better. I had originally planned on eating after the ride, but my body did not make it that long.

Hey I hope you are feeling better. Thanks for sharing your story and after all that did you get to ride star tours?

My first aid experience relates to Autopia, when I was about 11, I was exiting autopia and for some reason the way the CM was positioned / the way they held the seat belt when I exited the autopia car I tripped and broke my wrist... Went to first aid took good care of me got to go back stage and Disney took care of all the medical bills. . pretty awesome for a eleven year old kid who loved disneyland. I still remember clearly 20 yrs later as a 31yr old and I am always extremely cautious on autopia!
