Hello All,
I'm new here but, after reading some old posts, Im already loving the community!
I'm Mimi, and even though its been a little while since I've been to Disneyland,
I try to keep up on the news nonetheless.
So, by now you know im a little nuts- wanting to visit the park on the 4th.
I searched the old posts and I didn't really find a lot of helpful info.
I read that the 4th is the 2nd busiest day of the year and that crowds will be a 9 out of a 10 according to some crowd prediction website but then, I also read in another post that the website was not that reliable?
So I have a few questions :
Does Disneyland have a special patriotic fireworks show or, do they do the normal fireworks with a few nods to America?
Do any of the characters have special dress?
Are there usually any special hoilday meals or snacks available?
Is the celebration only on the 4th itself?
Might we be able to get the same experience on the 3rd?
Would it be a huge mistake to only buy a one day ticket for DL only? This will only be a one day trip for the 2 of us ( my husband and I) and unless we would miss something unbelievable in CA Adv. I think we'd prefer to stick in one park.
Will the Disney hotels have any patriotic plans?
And, as far as restaurants go, should I make a reservation now? I really loved Goofys Cafe and The Remy the rat Restaurant near pirates of the caribbean .. I think the actual name was something french.
And, as far as crowds go and waiting in line, what should I expect 2 hour lines? 3 hour lines?
How do I find out if a magic morning ( early admission ) is available for the 4th?
Any additional advice would be wonderful!
