Completely irrelevant and doesn't affect anything but I find it amusing that even with exchange rates, one day at current Disney Construction Adventure is higher priced than a day at Tokyo DisneySea.

Lol it is funny... I'm just glad we paid off our July trip yesterday so that we were not subject to this!

What's the price of the so cal APs? Seems like Disney wants to sell more APs than anything else.

I wouldn't pay for a day at DCA without it being a park hopper.

It's amazing to think they believe DCA should be at the same price as a single day at DL should be. Especially when the whole park is under construction and just looks like a bunch of walls.

LOL, what's crazy is its been that way for the last 7 years now! I dont get how TDR prices have managed to go up only $6 in the last 10 years, but DLRs has gone up $37?? in the same time period? Thats not a mistake or typo either kids.

In Febuary of 2001, TDR ticket price of one day was 5200 yen or a hard currency exchange of $52 roughly. In June of 2011, ticket price for one is now 5800 yen or roughly $58.

In Feburary of 2001, DLR ticket price for one was $43 dollars, considered a steal compared to TDR at the time. And now in June of 2011, ticket price for one is now $80?? It has nearly DOUBLED in a single decade.

Again, if people dont think Disney is doing everything possible to get people to buy Aps, think again! You have litterally paid for the cheapest AP out there if you simply go to DL twice in one year compared to what you would pay on a one day parkhopper. If you get the second cheapest one, its 2.5 trips. Thats crazy!

Its going to be harder and harder to justify making trips to Disneyland. I only average once every 2-3 years now, each increase and I find myself less willing to pay the prices Disney wants.

Why they do always keep on increasing the ticket price? They do use that money for schedule refurbishments on attractions and pay check for cast members? Or Disney is still being greedy.

This is something Disney has done a great job on, business-wise. By raising admission prices about $5 every year it never seems like that big of a change, but it adds up dramatically as you point out. After all, if last year someone paid $75 per person and this year it's $80 per person they're not going to balk at the increase. And next year they won't be surprised when it's up to $85, and on and on.

I hear you. I've already had to give up my AP, since I can't afford the trips So Cal. Now I can't even afford to get into the park. Sigh.
