Fantasy Waters

So, Fantasy Waters at the DL Hotel is gone forever. But what are they doing to that area? I saw recent photos that looked like they were turning the little pools into planters, the back drop wall was painted and the light up figures atop the wall is gone. This is an awful cheap cop-out for Disney to turn this into a simple landscaped planter (not to mention is is an ugly area during the day to begin with. Sure - it isn't great or cutting edge. But why remove it if they are not going to put something else there? I just feel that the DL Hotel is loosing a little bit of it's uniqueness by taking this attraction away. I hope something better is planned for this area in the near future. Not sure what it could be though.

Ending of Fantasy Waters was indeed kind of cheesy just closing without any notice, but we all know why they closed it, trying to stay up with the times, but their the ones that let it go to look like the "ghetto."

My girlfriend turned me on to the Fantasy Waters for the first time a few years ago. I thought it was something cool to check out on the property. I'm sorry to hear it's disappeared. I hope they put something in over there. I thought it was cool to spend an evening at the hotel when we stayed there, played the Jungle Cruise boats, had a drink at the wine bar that closed WAY too early! They need something. Of course there's always Downtown Disney.

It was a great way to wind down for the evening the lights and most especially the music. I miss it , a couple of weekends ago leaving the Lost Bar I could have easily parked my rear and listened and watched the show.
