If offered, would you buy a Disneyland ONLY AP?

This came up in another thread, but I am curious to amount of folks that would go for the offer....

Back when DCA opened in 2001, Disneyland offered either a Disneyland ONLY AP or for a higher price, a 2-park AP that allowed you into DL and DCA (They did not offer DCA only AP's).

So, using the 2001 pricing, let's come up with some approximate Price differences, using the current Pricing for the 2-Park AP's

    Premium, $249 DL Only, $349 2-Park

    Deluxe, $149 DL Only, $229 2-Park

    SoCal, $99 DL Only, $149 2-Park

    SoCal Select, $79 DL Only, $119 2-Park

So, based on those prices, which option would you choose?

I would still go with the premium two-park AP. It'd be worth it for me.

If TDA were to reconfigure AP:
    1. Drop the PAP. Everyone should pay to enter parks on the busiest days.
    2. Raise the rates on the rest of them.

As to your question, yes, I would buy a Disneyland-only AP over a 2-park AP, IF I needed to buy an AP and IF I lived close enough to be able (or be forced) to go about once a month or so. I currently don't have enough time to spend in both parks, and DCA cannot currently compete for my limited resource versus the alternative.
It's possible that I'd alternate 1-park APs with 2-park APs, depending on DCA's progress as a "tough choice in the Esplanade."

(The poll is too specific. I wouldn't buy a one-park AP just to save money. That's not even the primary reason.)

I'd still go for the 2-Park AP. The Tower of Terror owns my soul, so I would definately need the 2-Park

Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

Absolutely both parks; I love the different types of experiences I can have in both places. And I can tell you that my family members feel the same.

Interestingly, the only person on this thread to complain about APs and thinks they should be limited appearantly doesn't even have one...

I think it would be more interesting if I did have one and was complaining about them. But, that's me. YMMV. I like Disneyland, and I think it should cost more to get in than some people pay to get in. So sue me. No, not really. That's just an expression.

You know as much as I complain about DCA... I still will go for the two parks... Just so long as I can park hop... I really enjoy going into DCA for Lunch or Dinner... Because the lines aren't nearly as long and it is a little more relaxing... Not that the food is any better...

I wish they had a Sci Fi Drive In, though...

I buy the Premium AP, eat twice each visit (full meals, sit-down restaurants), and buy select souvenirs; money I would not be spending many multiple times a year if I didn't have an AP. And those PAPs ain't cheap when you're shelling out that cash all at once.

So, who does Disney get more money from, you or me? Just curious.

My family would go for a D-land only AP. Not that we don't enjoy DCA, we do and it's nice to have an adult bev. But, overall my kids and I would rather be at the original park.
