    Can Anyone Help Me Out?

Okay, I'm going to be pretty straightforward here. I am a big Disneyland Resort fan, a big Disney Park fan in general, but unfortunately enough for me, I'm stranded out in Oklahoma.

    My request is this:

I've managed to located some Disneyland Resort music to hold me over until I can get my hands on the Musical History of Disneyland set, but there's two things I desperately want that I know won't be on that set. One of them, I'll readily admit is probably going to be impossible to get my hands on. The two things I want are music from California Adventure. The first, the one that would be hard to get, is the music medley they play in Paradise Pier (the carnival version of popular songs involving California). The second is the Entrance Plaza medley music. While I understand that one may be difficult, I would be forever grateful for anyone who could help me in making out a track listing of the songs in that medley or getting me to the medley itself.

Thanks in advance for any and all help and input that anybody contributes to this.

You could always just download the separate songs that are in the medly. I mean they're huge classics and the medley doesn't change them a bit.. so no difference there.

Re: Can Anyone Help Me Out?

EDIT: Actually, although it still isn't the carnival style music, I just found a website that knocked out two birds with one stone, so unless someone can direct me to the carnival area music, I no longer need the help...

I know I could download them (and I plan on it), but I wanted to make sure I have a proper list of the songs first. I came across these, that are supposed to be the ones used in Paradise Pier, and if I'm not mistaken, they are the same ones used at the entrance.

If anyone can confirm these, I would be very happy...

Since I went to high school in Oklahoma and I still visit family there occasionally, I can certainly relate to the feeling of being "stranded".

Have you checked out Disneymusicloops.com? If that's where you got your song list from, you can bet that it's pretty darn accurate.

Actually, Lampwick, that's the site I found that caused me to edit the beginning of post three. It's a very good site. It will do, but I still enjoy the carnival renditions they play. Visionsfantastic has a short part of that as the Paradise Pier Splash Page...

If you use iTunes, there is a free downloadable podcast called "1313 South Harbor Radio." One of their episodes is nothing but esplanade music. They have music from other lands as well, but I could listen to the esplanade loop for hours on end.

If you go to their website, http://www.1313southharborblvd.com, they have all of that music available for download.

That is not the same list that is played in both Paradise Pier and the Sunshine (entrance) Plaza. I don't know the actual list, but I DO know that Natalie Cole's version of "Avalon", and The Four Preps' "26 Miles" are both on the Sunshine Plaza loop. If I'm not mistaken, there are actually two versions of "Avalon" included.

By the way, two of the most beloved films of all time, "Casablanca" and "Its a Wonderful Life", both feature the song "Avalon". Sam plays it in "Casablanca", and its being played in the background on radio or phonograph early in the scene where Uncle Billy ends up tripping over the trash cans in "Its a Wonderful Life".

I don't believe either loops in on the DCA CD. I'm also looking for the California Screamin' music.
