Clueless East Coaster here... Why did they ever get rid of Aladdin's Oasis?? I only dined there once, but from what I remember I really enjoyed it. It seemed to me like a pretty nice full service restaurant in a park that's lacking in that category. I know demographics are different at DLR than WDW with much more locals/day-trippers and people tend to opt more for quick service, but still, I'd think there'd be enough interest in full service "experience" restaurants to keep the place going. What happened?
I knew if this business was ever to get anywhere, if this business was ever to grow, it could never do it by having to answer to someone unsympathetic to its possibilities, by having to answer to someone with only one thought or interest, namely profits. For my idea of how to make profits has differed greatly from those who generally control businesses such as ours. I have blind faith in the policy that quality, tempered with good judgment and showmanship, will win against all odds.
