    Disneyland Ticket Upgrading Question…..

I've tried searching this, asking people, as well as I just tried to call the Disneyland ticket booth. But they were closed, haha. So i'm hoping some of you can help answer my question.

So my friends and I have complimentary tickets for one day into both parks. So each ticket has a value of $101. Disney's new deal is A three day park hopper for $154. I was curious if even though its complimentary, before (or maybe after?) we enter the park on the day we decide to go, we can upgrade it to the three day ticket for $53?
It's my understanding you can't upgrade a complimentary ticket to an annual pass, but since this is just another type of ticket, is it possible?

It all seems to good, so i'm doubting we'll be able to do this, but that's why i'm asking!
    Thank you.

It may depend on the type of comp ticket you have. If you have the physical ticket in your possession, read the fine print.

Look on the back of your ticket. If your ticket has a cash value then you may be able to upgrade to the Socal park hopper ticket. But since the three day pass is a special offer, they may require you to up grade to a full priced 3-day park hopper.

Usually complimentary tickets have no cash value so they can not be up graded to any kind of ticket or annual pass.

Well, I don't have the ticket in my possession currently, we get it at the park the day of. So right now I can't look on the back of the ticket or anything.

But yeah I'm not sure… thanks though guys!

Looking at the Comp tickets in my possession, they state they may not be upgraded and have no value.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

IMO - it can never hurt to ask/try once you get there. the worst they can do is say no.
