About LinkBacksIs this supposed to be a river or something else? I can't find anything referencing this. I figure it's either a river or perhaps some lighting or other landscaping will go there. Maybe some shrubs and trees? Anyone know for sure?

Ive wondered this aswell. I dont think it will be a river as I don't think you'll be able to see if from Carsland
Maybe an animatronic character will be placed there? Or maybe it's just some odd crack in the mountain.
Most likely some sort of planter bed location. It'll probably get filled with dirt and mulch for future landscaping and irrigation.
There's supposed to be a waterfall somewhere in here...anyone know if anything's shown up in construction yet?

Haha, at first from the title, I thought you were asking what is Radiator Springs.Looking at the picture, you may be onto something with either a place to put recessed lighting or a "real" dirt for living plants. I'm guessing since it was visible from a vantage point on the ferris wheel then it will be covered or disquised when done. If it wasn't visible from a vantage point in the park then it could just be unfinished since sets are only built for what is going to be seen.

I would guess a planter area! Also I too from the thread title thought you were asking what Radiator Springs Racers was! Glad it was a different question would have to wonder where you had been!

I thought it was an opening in the roof of the loading area. However it could be a pond for the waterfall.
I'm guessing it's just for water drainage.

It's just a gap that guests will not be able to see. Used for water drainage, weather-proof lighting and to keep the loading station facade a separate structure.
it's a ride kinda. and you sit in a car and it goes really fast around and around. It's not a giant waterfall or a river or a planter..

sorry everyone, I changed the title to eliminate the confusion....I was thinking it's drainage for the waterfall which is going in up there somewhere...maybe a "river" from the waterfall down to some of the lower areas of the ride...like in the movie when Lightning McQueen and Sally go riding around the valley together and they see the waterfall?
You can see where the waterfall will be. Facing CarsLand, if you look to the right hand side, they've installed a replica of the bridge they drive over across the waterfall, as well as a gap in the rockrock behind the bridge that looks like where the waterfall would fit. I'm hoping they use actual water for the effect, but we'll see!
