My Site Plan of Long Beach DisneySea

I had some fun conceptualizing a site plan out of the preliminary artwork and press releases of the Long Beach project. The front half is based closely on the art, with a lot more conjecture/wishful thinking going into the back of the park (that I couldn't make out in the artwork).

If the writing's too small to read, bigger versions (and reference photos, etc.) can be found on my blog.

What program did you use to create this drawing? It is very well done. I'm not very familiar with the projects. Where did you find all the details or did you just make some of it up?

I used AutoCAD. The drawing is based mostly (70%?) on actual proposed ideas, with the following site being a major source of info: Neverworlds Bicentennial Special – Port Disney | Progress City, U.S.A..

However, a lot of the written descriptions didn't necessarily connect with the overview art (and vice-versa), so I had to fill lots of gaps with conjecture. I also expanded the park/attractions roster somewhat - as I prefer imagining & drawing big, attraction-stuffed theme parks, rather than more realistic, attraction-lite ones.

Similar to what I had done previously with WestCOT:

Wow! AutoCAD is very useful. Its stuff like this that made me want to go into Drafting! That is very impressive. I have yet to learn about making site plans but this drawing makes me very excited for my classes next semester. It will help immensely to be able to show my ideas if I knew how to make a good site plan drawing. That makes me super excited. All I can say is well done and keep up the good work!
