Can anyone tell me if the above design is a Disneyland or WDW nametag? And if it is indeed a Disneyland nametag, what year was this used? Is it possibly from 1980, the 25th anniversary? It's not a design I am familiar with. Thanks!

I worked at DL in the late seventies, when the nametags did not have that little "bubble" at the top, for the logo; the tags were perfectly oval in shape. So I doubt this tag is from DL 1980; it's more recent than that.
Anyone remember when that bubble (I call it that in reference to the "bubble cab" on the old monorails) first appeared on the nametags? Something tells me it wasn't until the mid-nineties or so.
I shouldn't post until I have two cups of coffee, minimum.Originally Posted by BlueSkyDriveBy

There you go.
ah, beat me to it. It's DL, by the castle on the drum.
(Was it the 30th though, or the 35th? I guess go with what bluesky said)
Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
I think I have one of those nametags and I worked at the Park in the late 80's.
*goes to look*
Edited to add: Just saw all of BlueSky's answer. I'd go with that, as I worked at D-Land '85-'90.

35ths logo was way more 80s, a castle made of teal and hot pink geometric shapes. I know because it was my biggest trip to DL ever and I still have a bag full of souveneirs in the closet behind me.Originally Posted by Morrigoon
