World of Color delay affected Magical?

I was waiting for the 2nd show of World of Color when I realized that the first show did not start at 9. When they opened up the holding area for Blue, the show finally started at 9:15. When the show ended around 9:45, Magical then started. I looked at the fireworks and the wind was not affecting the show at all. What I concluded was that DL was told to hold off Magical until the first WoC was done after the delay.

Seems that they don't want the fireworks going off to distract the WoC audience. Seems to make sense right?

That does make sense and would be the best reason.

There also is a chance that Magical caused the delay and WOC was told to start late. I wonder if Fantasmic started on time.

If this is the case, I'm assuming that all the shows were told to wait. Which is by far the most logical.

Yup I have to agree with everyone here. Those fireworks can be loud and disrupt the WOC show. There was definitely no wind last night because during the show, the smoke was so still! It even began covering the fireworks behind it. Normally the smoke would have been cleared by the wind so it wasn't in the way!

i thought they plan everything so it doesn't interfere with other shows if one show is delayed they all become delays

    It's a music Celebration
Come on, come on, come on
    Strike up the band,
Feel the beat, what a great sensation
Come on, come on, come on
    Move and clap your hands,
    Get into the Spirit
    Let everyone hear it,
    So come on, come on

Its not just so that the fireworks would interrupt WOC...but it is also taken in consideration the flow of guests. The don't want 2 shows ending at the exact same time if one is delayed. The crowds would be awful. They each affect each other.

Normally I would agree, but to be honest when the fireworks end the crowd you see is actually both Fantasmic and Magical crowds leaving the park or getting to their next destination. Disney wants it to happen that way. What would be a somewhat nightmare would be Fantasmic starting at it's normal time and the fireworks beginning 15-20 minutes later than it was suppose to. With that kind of gap, you would have a larger amount of people from Fantasmic trying to leave while the crowd for Magical is still waiting for the fireworks or even worst during the fireworks.

So in short, if Fantasmic and the fireworks were to end at the same time you would basically have the same nightmare crowd as if Fantasmic and the fireworks ended at separate time. Since those watching Fan are encouraged to stay. The only difference would be the guests watching Fantasmic might be a little angered that the fireworks became a distraction.

I can't imagine the mass exodus if all the shows ended at the same time. Yikes!
"Up" is a relative concept. It has no intrinsic value.

It does makes sense. If WOC had fireworks, I think their legally not allowed since their only allowed to do one pyro show at a time.... I read that somewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong.
