Why is there so much negativity against this artist? And what does tattoos have to do with anything? If you don't think he's a good artist, that's fine, but why put him down for how he looks and what you think of his work?

This is probably old news, but I noticed that the Matterhorn page on the Disneyland website lists the height requirement as 42" now. I believe this was originally reported by the OC Register, but hadn't been updated on the DL website.

I'm personally disappointed that the height requirement jumped up so significantly. It seems like Disney could have designed bobsleds that would be safe and more efficient, yet still accomodate 35" tall children. There are many other rides at the DLR with higher thrill factors that have lower height requirements than the new height requirement for the Matterhorn.

It is on the Disneyland.com webpage as 42". I noticed it a few days ago and saw it mentioned on MC a couple before that. Matterhorn Bobsleds | Fantasyland Attractions | Disneyland Park

Also note the ride vehicles are new and you sit in individual seats, not two to a seat anymore.

Saw on twitter, no soft openings for the Matterhorn... It's got to be fun in the parks with DCA closed and no Matterhorn.

Weren't we just counting attractions at Disneyland in that DLvsDCA thread? There are "59" other attractions to enjoy, they'll survive without the Matterhorn for a few more days! :P

Matterhorn currently is open and has a 90 minute wait and it looks like only one side is open.

They moved that stuff to DCA for the big media event over there. It'll probably return to Disneyland very soon.

As for Matterhorn, dlnt has a video on Twitter already:

So, Matterhorn got new lighting and vehicles. That's it. Here's video. - Tom Corless - Twitvid

as expected, no major show changes but it looks like the falling snow projection is back!

Re: Disneyland Resort Project Tracker 3

Matterhorn had finally opened after nearly 6 months of refurbishment. Here's the video from last night that I recorded during the soft opening in the evening hours.

The ride itself was somewhat smooth, but still rough and bumpy when it turns the corners. I think everything is still the same as before.

In the video, you can see how fast it takes a guest to buckle their belt from left to right.

I stood in line at 7:30 when it was still day light out, by the time I got into the bobsled it had already turned to night. I waited almost an hour to get on the ride. I should have done the single rider line.
