I'm not sure. I got the pic from a friend who visited the DLH. I'll try to get a view of the lobby before I leave the park tonight.

Is is possible to like Disneyland and Disney in general too much. Some of my friends say I talk about it too much. Just wondering what other people here think.

If it starts interfering with your personal life and affects your finances severely, then I'd say yes. Until then, you're fine.

So Disneyland's Facebook page had a post about Innoventions being opened on this date in 1998 (LINK).

Let's just say the comments weren't as enthusiastic lol. I'm hoping this will further make management realize how badly Innoventions needs to be updated or replaced. *crosses fingers*

Good thing that a plan has already been greenlit to replace Innoventions...

THe background reminds me of the Delta SkyClub lounges. I would have rather seen a collage of vintage photos.

We were sent over there with the message that only we would defend Disney quality.. We learnt quickly that the Japanese culture speaks to a level of quality that is hard to comprehend. They were all unbelievably skilled and willing to do the right thing.

The lobby is not done yet.

There are big chandeliers still coming, new furniture, artwork, and wait til you guys get a look at the purple mod Mary Blair pattern custom-carpet they are going to install soon. The current "new" carpet in the lobby areas that went down a few weeks ago is only temporary; it's actually remants left over from Paradise Pier hotel rooms. And when they get all the LED's working in the big fountains outside, that will be cool too.

Check back in about two more weeks, then it will be closer to 98% done.

Thanks, Westsider! Now I'm excited, especially if it will be close to complete in two weeks. We'll be there Dec 2nd and bringing some friends who have NEVER been to Disneyland, much less stayed at the Disneyland hotel!

Excited for the Magic Kingdom movie? It could be good, and I'm hoping it is... but I won't hold my breath.
