Something else that surprised me was the fact that Minnie comes in so late in the show. The three girls get plenty of stage time before Minnie's big arrival. I thought it was great that they gave the entire cast a chance to shine instead of focusing only on Minnie.
Watching the video I also wondered if they were lip syncing, but I think that microphones have come a long way.

I have to agree that the show is pretty awesome. I really liked the historical reference to WWII and the use of the Disney songs as well.

And these same performers will also be putting on a show on BVS when it opens, so the quality is a good sign for the direction of entertainment.

The show looks absolutely great! Great step in the right direction. Very traditional Disney entertainment, entertaining and high energy without a character overload. They are VERY talented singers; you gotta love those old jazz harmonies. And AtomicBear I think you are right, these girls will be the same ones doing the roaming girl trio, The Friendly Sisters, in BVS. Should be wonderful, as should the BVS News Boys and Five and Dime. Also excited for the entertainment for Cars Land including the interactive Red and the DJ car that will have dancers that will perform to 60's Motown and other car tunes.

Loved it! What a great addition to the area, and to the park as a whole.

Minnie only comes in for the last 5 minutes. :/

There I found something wrong with it, even though I haven't seen it in person.

Just read about this today in the new commemorative guidebook that Disney gave to CMs. One of the new entertainment offerings in BVS will be the Citizens of Buena Vista Street, where "guests will encounter a series of characters from 'old time Los Angeles,' who specialize in creating impromptu laughs, smiles... and, of course, memories. You just never know who you might bump into along Buena Vista Street!" It sounds like this will be DCA's version of the similarly titled Citizens of Hollywood at Disney Hollywood Studios.

Also listed are the other acts that we already know about, but I'll list the descriptions in case you guys are interested:

Red Car News Boys - A group of young newspaper vendors leaps from the historic Red Car Trolley, performing a variety of high-energy tunes designed to hawk headlines and have a little fun! It's a unique, high-energy street performance like no other!

Five & Dime - When not working at the local Five & Dime, this group of five musicians and a red-hot singer travel the streets in their breezy jalopy, hoping to get their big break. Their snazzy music, toe-tapping rhythms, and talent are the "cat's pajamas."
And the entertainment in Cars Land:

Red the Fire Truck - With the help of young Guests, Red uses his hose and water to clean the town and water the plants to make Radiator Springs look beautiful.

DJ - When DJ rolls into Cars Land, he "stops traffic" and creates a spontaneous, interactive dance party with our Guests.

Mater and McQueen - These buddies set up shop at the Cozy Cone to make new friends and smile for the cameras.
    - Adventure Is Waiting -

"We're going to take you out of this world of reality for a visit to the most fantastic of all the worlds of fantasy." - Walt Disney

Hmm. Does that mean Mater and Lighting's meet and greet will be at the Cozy Cone Motel after Cars Land opens?

Wow, I'm really impressed with the new show! I was iffy about it cause I had forgot all about it until I heard it was premiering today, so it was a nice surprise and really, a great show! Can't wait to see more of the new Entertainment coming to DCA!

The execution on the talking character heads is awesome. Gone are the days where that sort of thing would have lines, seams or joints around the mouth to facilitate the movement and thats awesome!

I'm really excited about the street entertainment that is coming in the summer. I really think this will allow these enviornments to feel alive and immersive. I'm wondering if the cars mentioned in the cars land entertainment will be able to talk/have moving mouths?

The paper boys are a great idea, however why must they use the red car trolley in their act? Id rather have the redcar in use for the public than used as a mere prop for these paper boys.

If they perform several times a day then we can expect at least one of the redcars to be out of service for the general public most of the day. I dont support that. The paper boys should do their little act on the street without the redcar.

I may be mistaken, but I remember seeing concept art of this News Boys show. I vaguely remember they perform it on the parked redcar on the main drag of Hollywoodland. Is that true? Or is it also in Buena Vista Street.

Personally I would really like it to be in Hollywoodland. Spread out the entertainment. Plus they may have more space there... But until Hollywoodland gets refurbed to fit the period, we probably won't see it there.

It's interesting that Five and Dime will have a "jalopy". It'll be great to have some other sort of automobile driving down BVS!

The Red Car is a very low capacity add to the park. I think it really adds more to the ambiance of the park than really being an "attraction." Having the line temporarily shut down for a performance a handful of times a day is ok with me.

Not really any different than the horse-drawn street cars in DL. They don't run all day. If there is a parade, they are backstage.
