I think the ads inside the Red Car Trolley advertising the Buena Vista Street stores are a nice touch.

I'm hoping we get some more vehicles in the coming months added to the parade route. It would be great to see BVS connected to the Paradise Pier with stops at Carsland using vintage cars

This! It would add so much atmosphere and energy to the park. In a dream world, a Red Car extension to Paradise Pier would be awesome (and perfectly in theme, the old Red Cars would go from the city to the seaside amusement parks all along the Southland coast back in the day), but that won't happen. I can imagine a vintage traveling car going from the BVS near the Pump House, up the parade route, a stop off at the entrance to Route 66, and then end at the pier right near the Red Obelisk. Then they could have another, smaller vintage traveling car that's a bit more "outdoorsy" looking, go from the BVS Pump House, through Condor Flats, and ending at GRR/GCH but that one isn't as plausible or even possible but would be awesome nonetheless! DCA is really playing up this kind of vintage and retro road trip style and theming in some of their new merchandise and it's something that could really connect the park together well, figuratively and literally. Think about it, DCA is made up of many "roads": Buena Vista Street, Hollywood Blvd., Sunset Blvd., Route 66, Route 49 (Grizzly Peak), and possibly El Camino Real (parade route from BVS to PP) and this idea of the park having a kind of overarching story of being a road trip back in time to a vintage and retro CA could be really cool.

I'm also really loving how BVS and the Red Car are looking and would love to see more vintage cars added to the park. I remember seeing an early piece of concept art for PP with a classic car driving in front of the TLM building and it looked awesome. It would be nice to have that route not stop at the obelisk, but go all the way to near SSS. But unfortunately, with two parades a day and WoC, I don't think that would be practical. But even just in they just ran the same route as the trolleys a few more vehicles would really complete the theme. Now I just can't wait to see the rest of the Hollywood Land facades get fixed. Especially the theater and the removal of the sky backdrop and some changes to the Animation facade. At least then the street itself would be fine. Be nice to see the back-lot area fixed too, but that may take a little longer. I still think we may get some more minor Hollywood Land improvements after this summer.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

I just imagine the themed posters:

Red Car Trolly, now with stops at the Eureka Gold & Timber Co. and Paradise Aquarium!

It would match well with the "stops at the Hollywood Tower Hotel" idea and really add to the transportation and immersion of the park - it's not just The Little Mermaid ride, it's the Paradise Aquarium (or maybe, Bayside Aquarium?). Just that extra themeing oomph to really immerse you in this world...

The Red Cars look fantastic!! I also really like the new show lighting at the Carthay. Will they use spotlights to draw the eye at night as well? Could be fun...

I really wish they could have created a new parade, but that might be for next summer...Maybe they added Wall-E and Up floats to PPP? They might as well use that massive new parade route to their advantage.

Wow so many little details are coming together, it all looks so great! The excitement is really starting to set in. Can you believe it? 5 years of waiting will be over in just three months... It's kind of surreal honestly... The "new" DCA has always been something far away in the future, but now it's basically here. It will be kind of strange when it's all done.

    Can't wait for June!!

I think at this point, we're all just getting antsy to see the final product. Only 79 days away...

I'm. Also hoping for a few more trees along El Camino Real. The south area from Carsland to the Wharf bridge could use a few trees to help give the area some shade. Once summer arrives that area is one of the hottest in the park and standing anywhere that section for a parade is aweful

It looks like the Carthay Theatre has a million bug bites at night.
