I'll take one of Fillmore's pomegranate limeade's for the Sh-Boom moment when all the neon turns on.
Disneyland will always be the best, because Walt walked there.

Wow there's such a wealth of information and pictures appearing today! It's so exciting! I also see signs appearing in Mint's pictures. The MARKET sign is going up at Mortimer's, the trolley stop's sign is up, and the giant Candy sign at Trolley Treats!

Ah, well that makes sense. Can't wait until they are installed.

Is there not going to be a hanging red blinking light across Route 66?

My guess is it'll go up when the telephone wires go up.

Those pictures of the original DCA entrance are really interesting now that we're so close to the opening of Buena Vista Street. There was no sense of time or place - and it's glaringly apparent how much kitchy and uninspired it used to be. I have to admit I had my reservations about BVS when it was first announced, but it really is turning out to be something special.

Looking at those photos of sunshine plaza, I have a nostalgia for it. But maybe it should be crapstalgia.

All the new food products coming to DCA sound really amazing and unique. Disney Dining has been stepping their game up over the past few years... gone are the days where every quick service restaurant featured the same bland. I love how all of the menu overhauls and the new menus are designed to fit their location. Also I love how some of the new food items sound more bold like an apple cheddar pie! Also really like all the fun drinks at the Cozy Cone. Can't wait to see how all of this turns out!

Al says that the monorail is going to get a wrap for DCA 2.0

EDITOR’S NOTE 5/11: Lasseter and Staggs have been in Anaheim doting on DCA this week as the PR campaign kicks off. Media tours of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street where the journalists are put under "embargo" until June are now taking place, along with America's Funniest Videos taping their season finale in front of Flo's V8 Cafe. Ellen Degeneres is up next in Cars Land, then an Indy 500 spot, plus local TV channels from Sydney to Seoul to Seattle. A wrapped monorail is also in the works. The marketing campaign of the decade is about to begin!. - Al Lutz

Haha all these new menu options sound amazing! But I'm on a diet, loosing weight so you probably won't see me at those places anytime soon. Well maybe the Veggie Tatar Bake since I'm a sucker for vegetarian food!

A monorail inside a theme park, advertising another theme park? Sounds like theme park inception to me!

Asked this before, don't think I got an answer. What are the metal (and now a (fake) wood) poles on the right side of this picture for. They are along the sidewalk in front of Flo's. And I think in other pictures, you can see some on the left side of the street. I know the camera compresses everything, but they seem to stand out with an as yet unknown purpose.

That was for the live filming of AFV in Carsland Wednesday night (And I got to attend ), I think

LOL! Love it! Now they just need to build "Inception: The Ride" inside the theme park.

I think Disney should have Paul Pressler and Cynthia Harris cut the ribbon for the grand re-opening.....
