I get that parents are very protective of their children - but I mean come on already. Having your kids around people who are using for fun in a rave setting isn't going to turn them into potential addicts. Ignorance, shame and pushing the controversial subject under the rug will.

At some point you're going to have to face this, just like you'll face racism at Disneyland, drunks, rude teenagers, sex...everything that the world provides in 30k people increments a day. It is definitely not the retreat it once was - but that's more a matter of a disintegrating concept of respect.

I realize you probably don't want to have to explain what drug use is on your vacation to your child - but don't demonize the party - just avoid it.

^^Once again why do you care what others choice is regarding their children? Your opinion, my opinion, everyones opinions are valid and I don't see why it matters to you why certain people feel a certain way means you getting upset about it. You deal with yours and they'll deal with theirs.

Anyways this discussion has gotten long and is not going anywhere, wow those pictures over the wall are AMAZING! Thanks Socalbma!

This is what I've been wondering/thinking about also. Thanks for saying it.

Also, man, that other site sure has no problems shooting over the walls! Which is totally fine! I just think it's interesting that no one else really tends to do it but this one. That last one posted by xsdesign, even though it isn't showing as much as some other photos we've seen has me excited. This is shaping up to be a great area. They should have some flowers or ground cover in that planter on the right I'd assume, no?

I also think that these dance club parties are a cheap, tacky way to keep them from actually having to FIX that area. As long as they can suck booze money out of that area, we will probably never get anything of quality back there.

Most of the new stuff has been covered already, so just a few to fill in the gaps:

There is something on the top of the pedestal on the right side. I think this may be to attach the "rock" part of the statue:

It looks like they are patching cracks in the mural:

One of the T Party lanterns is already torn:

How does World of Color look from the Cove Bar? Has the bar always been open during the show? Hmm...could be kind of cool and worth the $10 cover.

The Cove Bar looks great by the way. We are really getting excited about our five day visit in July and are exploring all the options the resort has to offer. We haven't been in over two years so there is alot of new lands and attractions to explore.

yah partners statue looks kind of small but maybe the angle hopefully they keep it under wraps until a few days or even the day of reopening.

    It's a music Celebration
Come on, come on, come on
    Strike up the band,
Feel the beat, what a great sensation
Come on, come on, come on
    Move and clap your hands,
    Get into the Spirit
    Let everyone hear it,
    So come on, come on

You would be viewing it from the side, and slightly behind, and as such, you wouldn't be able to see any of the projections. But you would still have a great view of the fountains and the flames. Rumor is that if you have enough to drink, it looks AMAZING from there.
