So how long will it take for these catalog items to sell out? I'm thinking specifically the pins (regular and APs) . We don't get there until the 19th.
Anybody hear if there will be a live online stream of ceremonies on the 15th?
It says specifically in the blog that the items are only supposed to be available at Animation on the 15th. If they have any leftovers (which I don't think they will, but you never know), they will probably be available at a pin location. These are all limited editions, though, with less than 3000 pins in each. They are expecting June 15th to be a max capacity day for DCA. I'm sure if you can't find these in the parks, you'll be able to find them on ebay.

I most certainly hope so.
I spy some in-laid lighting on the BVS sidewalk! (Bottom left, to illuminate Elias & Co.) I know there was a discussion about this a WHILE ago so thought it was interesting...

Ugh, what disappointing merchandise! Pins and Vinylmation. Yuck. And to think of the cool stuff we used to get at the merchandise events. What a shame.

The Ratatouille ride would be the first use of the latest version of the line-wire technology in the US (it's not "track less"). The early version is used in Ellen's Energy Adventure in EPCOT, but the wire is clearly visible on the ground, not buried in the concrete floor.
But it's hard to imagine with them just having dumped over a billion into DCA that they're going to spend another $150 million on the Ratatouille ride (which should be amazing--anyone who has ridden Pooh's Hunny Hunt in Tokyo will tell you!).
But that's great to hear it's floating around in the Blue Sky! And it sure would be a huge boost for that area of Hollywood Land. They would need a pretty big building for it--is the Hollywood and Dine area large enough for the show building? Some snooping on Google Earth would make it clear pretty quick.
Born in a shoebox and making the most of it.
Not to veer off-topic, but how would a Ratatouille ride make any sense in Hollywood Land? It's just as bad as Monsters Inc.
It would be set in a Hollywood French restaurant of course.![]()
