Note the layout of the walls in front of the Carthay - it looks like they plan on opening the pathway directly in front of the pump house. The construction walls will go around the new fountain. I guess this confirms that the parade will in fact be able to cross through here and make its way down the full parade route

    Great find!

You can also see that the temporary entrance pathway along the Soarin' building has a lot of those little Pan Pacific fins. From the main entrance, we can only see 2, but it looks as if they will continue all the way down the pathway. Interesting to see how this all comes together.

We did hear that that section of the Red Trolley was complete with paving and the bricks were laid. So I suppose it's all correct that they will open that section up since the walkway floor is complete.

Great pictures and great find nonob!

On that new map, the pump-house is not shown though and neither are walls around that area. Also, the Condor flat sign is missing! Wonder if anything will happen there...

The opening of the side entrance seem to explain while they rushed all those inspections lately! Also, this will correspond with D23, won't it? One more little piece of synchronized announcement?

Nice to see a new Project Tracker! It's been a fantastic way of keeping up with all the exciting changes at DCA.

I noticed a few things after seeing the new park map. You can see the outline of some of the BVS shops and the Carthay theater along with the street. The pump house will be exposed, does this mean we'll know exactly what they'll be using it for? A wait times board? Unless they're going to be working on it with the walls down. Another question regarding the pathway coming from Golden State/a bug's land towards the entrance; is this section finished? It's just a pathway but I'm wondering if the cement work revealed will be the same we'll see around BVS.

Guess we'll all find out once the walls and new pathway comes down.

Well I have a feeling the pump house may still be behind walls, just that little corner but who knows. Tomorrow I'll be in the parks later in the day so should be interesting to see and experience.

I kinda hope the parade doesn't go around the Carthay Circle fountain. The parade route is already going to be the longest in the history of any Disney park with PLENTY of seating all along the route. No need to make it even longer. I wonder how long PPP will stay around? It's a great parade but idk. With the new long route and RCT wires going in I know they need height limits for floats and to compensate for that, I hope future floats are made longer instead of taller which would also help by stretching them a little more on an already way long parade route.

There are rumors floating around from various sources that the pump house will indeed have a wait time board on it's front.

I thought I heard that it was already a digital projection at WDW?

Seems like the perfect place for one. Does the pump house cover the GRR waterfall? I've always loved that part of the park.

    I was wondering that too

Of course it's a nice bit of story telling if the water is flowing to the Pump House.

It's not covering the waterfall. The full area of the waterfall on the backside of GRR is still accessible.

    Nope

The size of a screen like this - you want the high resolution of imax film - digital projection today still can't duplicate that

I hope it's true. Those wait time boards are so helpful.
