Not really. There are portions of BVS still yet to be "done" like fine details and of course the right-hand planter, which will take upwards into late July to finish. So we still got a little bit of tracking to go! Plus Disneyland still has a tracker and it's... Disneyland!
If you hit another tier right, it will get you spinning. I think having a spinning control is a bit useless. Of course, there are probably some who would like to just sit in one spot and just spin their tire.

I think I recall someone saying something like that for the Light Magic parade.
Looking forward to tomorrow night!

Two different worlds.....we live in two different worlds
Just to keep on this topic.
An aquaintance is going to be moving from her temporary position on the pier or wharf into her new location on Monday. With all the speculation that they are racing to get done, or not going to make the 14th ot 15th let me share this. She is not going to her merchandise location to paint, spackle or install molding or framed art. She is scheduled all week and that is either a ton of training for someone who has already worked in merchandise or will be helping guests on previews.

Some Mint tonight:
Magic Eye: Blue Sky Cellar - Museum of the History of Radiator Springs
Mint takes us to the new BSC exhibit... that's a head scratcher. Looks like the Mater's Tall Tales anthology along with Time Travel Mater screening in the theater portion has been scrapped? Weird because the PR specifically said it would play in there.
The new exhibit opened today but the Mater film won't start playing until the 15th (according to the disney parks blog).
I don't think it's related to construction in any way, i believe it's more along the lines of last minute touches and decorations, props, etc. But i'm just passing along what I heard![]()

"We're going to take you out of this world of reality for a visit to the most fantastic of all the worlds of fantasy." - Walt Disney
From what I understand, Buena Vista Street represents 1920's & 30's Los Angeles when Walt was just getting started, while Hollywood Land is supposed to take on the Golden Age, which took place in the late 30's and 1940's, which is evident by the 1940's swing music which has been playing recently.
I personally think they should focus the theme of Hollywood Land to the 1950's when Walt embraced television with shows like the Mickey Mouse Club and Zorro... plus that era would perfectly tie into the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, which is completely based upon a television series (definitely not part of the 1920's).
It can't be a NEW low for a Disney theme park because Walt also had beach balls flying around in the original flying saucers for a while.

Again I don't think he would care since Walt did the same thing with his version of the saucers. I find it interesting that Walt gets brought up when something goes wrong as if he was perfect. All it takes is a little research and the original flying saucers are clearly documented in video and photos and at one point balls were used to entertain guests in those saucers as well
I guess somebody had mentioned this already

no problem. not sure why it'll take another week to get the film going, but that's another thing to add to next week's long list of openings!
Just took a look through Mint's update and impressed with the new exhibit. It isn't very big, but still really cute and chock full of details! It must have taken a lot of time to create all that stuff, just look at this one chart here.
Pretty cool. After the exhibit ends at the Cellar, it'd be great if they could incorporate this little museum into Cars Land itself.. not sure where it could fit though.
