Oh and that News Boys show looks very campy and Disney Cheese. Not my type of show, but I'm sure others will enjoy it.
The singing is suppose to add to the fun factor to the attraction. Of course Mater isn't a great singer but that's sort of the point. I think it's fun to be listening to the music while riding it. I don't think it's annoying at all.

It's about time to capture before and after images throughout the park! What a great five years it has been!

Fillmore's is GREAT at night in Cars Land. It has this colorful, very psychedelic glow. The beads over the door are especially great!

Re: Disney California Adventure Project Tracker 12

Not watching the POV for RSR, only saw the first few seconds like TLM but that's it lol. But I HAD to see the BVS because that's what I've been mostly aniticpating all along. All I can say is WOW WOW WOW. Can't wait to see it in person.

So I called the AP line and asked about getting my pass in July, they highly recommended waiting or coming early because more than likey the park will be at capacity. Which makes me wonder if I should just get my AP in August. Would hate to drive up there and not be able to enter. My plan was to go that day (even though my AP So Cal Select is blocked out I'd be able to go that ONE day) so not sure if I want to risk it.

WDWInfo uploaded an overview video of Cars Land. You can see a little bit of the neon lighting ceremony at 5:13 Cars Land Overview at Disney California Adventure - YouTube

Really an awesome and very "magical" moment that had some people dancing, some others romancing, and everyone with a smile on their face. I saw it in front of Lizzie's and for anyone visiting Cars Land this summer, I definitely recommend you take the time to experience this great little event.
I'm SO glad they do this! I'll make it a point to wait at dusk for this to happen now that you've shared this awesome information!

Boring. It was fine before. This change was a negative in my opinion, a back step.

Also, while I was ok with the radar leaving the central hub area since it clashed with the BVS look, I really wish it would be added back somewhere inside the area.

While it does pretty bland idk what anyone was expecting. The plane was neat I guess if not a little hokey. Having been on BVS and in Carthay Circle, the plane most definitely would have clashed pretty badly with the land so I am glad they removed it. Hopefully a simple change now means plans for bigger change in the future.

Noticed this today too... The gas pumps outside of Fly N' Buy, used to be Chevron but have been switched out to Condor Gas.
