I wonder if they opened it way too soon before they had time to really work out all the bugs I could see this becoming an issue if it happens so often

each ride even with a ride system that has been used before could have elements that interact differently than previous uses. who is to say that the reason the ride system is having some problems is not because it goes from a one track to a two track system. The system probably has extra security features and programing to make sure that two cars do not go on the same track at one point during the race and that they reach the end at the correct time so that the merge happens correctly.
Lets not forget that there are highly advanced AA's that the system has to interact with. These are variables that maybe did not happen with previous rides that used similar ride system and the software being used is much more advanced than before. All these technical difficulties are most likely caused by the computer and its software not necessarily by the ride system itself
Do you mean the Lightning McQueen car at the very end welcoming you back with Luigi? Both those cars were working. Now that I think about the ride again when Mater is tipping tractors, there was no movement, they where all on their backs. But Mo was working fine. He was very mad. I got some nice merchandise and found the Trolly Poster T-Shirt in Elias and Sons, in the very last room where the candy store used to be, in my size and still with the white patch on the sleeve that stated it was an opening day shirt. I found an AP piece in Off The Page that contained 2 flat glass ornaments of the Story Teller statue on one and the Trolly Car on the other one. Very cool and I got one of those. I am now thinking that Buena Vista Street was as spectacular as was hoping and so was Carsland. Both are real winners.
Now about that special gift. My friends brought me a gift that was flat (about 1/4 inch thick) that was 3 feet by 4 feet, wrapped and got it into the Park somehow. Bill can be very persuasive. It was a life sized standee of Peter Pan in the classic pose. Something I have never seen or even knew existed. This was a perfect gift for me. Because of it's size they knew I could not get it home by bus, train or subway, so they drove me home from Anaheim to Van Nuys. A perfect visit to Disneyland made that way by two friends I have known for over 20 years. Here is Peter all set up in Neverland:

Next Trip in 2012 to see the final product
Looks like both parks were pretty full. So wierd to see DCA so packed all the time!!!
The best way to get more attractions is a full park

This might be a stupid question but does anyone think anything at all regarding DCA will be announced at D23 Expo?
