Marvel Universe. That way it gets the respect it deserves and Disney fans will not complain about parts of it making its way into the other parks.

For the reasons stated by Melonballer: Marvel

What I really want: Star Wars

I could also take: A Bug's Life or Nightmare Before Christmas

Of course, the last three already have representation in the resort, but still...
"Pretty soon he would be hundreds and hundreds of miles away on the great plains and deserts, and among the mountains of the Far West, and would see buffaloes and Indians, and prairie dogs, and antelopes, and have all kinds of adventures, and may be get hanged or scalped, and have ever such a fine time, and write home and tell us all about it, and be a hero."
    - Mark Twain, jealous of his brother who was traveling west.

Oh psh, fail, I misread the title.
Disregard my answer if you read it xD

For me it would have to be Beauty and the Beast

Fantasia. A lot of content to work with there.

Love the Nightmare Before Christmas idea! I'd also like to see (although this isn't Disney) a Back to the Future themed park; I think that could be pretty amazing.
Space Shuttle, this is flight safety, please keep your hands and arms inside the car, and remain seated while in motion. You are clear for launch.

Off the top of my head: Toy Story. Every character in the movie could inspire a different ride, and I'd have set aside one land to be inspired by Andy's neighbor's crazy, mixed-up, hybrid toys.

    1. Star Wars. The literal definition of a vast universe to explore

    2. Peter Pan. Neverland could practically be its own theme park, subdivided into Pirate, mermaid, Indian, and Lost Boy themed lands.

    3. Pirates of the Caribbean, as inspired by this rendering

    4. Muppets, for sheer awesomeness

A Star Wars theme park would be awesome! It has so much potential because there's different worlds in the Star Wars Universe that could help develop the park.

So much to work with here. Star Wars because I would love to see a restaurant that looks like the cantina.

Marvel would also be the obvious choice.

Does it have to be Disney owned or licensed? I could see some non-Disney stuff, too. Goonies, Battlestar Galactica, He-man, GI Joe, Transformers... It goes on and on.

I think the ultimate would be a Mel Brooks park. Frontierland based on Blazing Saddles, Tomorrowland based on Spaceballs, Fantasyland based on Men in Tights, and a land centered around history based on History of the World Part 1.
"Greetings, Starfighter! You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada."

Villains (not a franchise you say?)
    Pixar (not one either?)
    Muppets
    Beauty and the Beast
Who Framed Roger Rabbit (never gonna happen!)

(BTW Tron and Dinosaur? Never gonna happen either!)

Oh! And one that I have been saying should be built at DLP (due to the massive popularity of Disney comics in mainland Europe) - Duckburg
    WDW - 1987 & 1991
    DLP - 1996, 2004, 2006 & 2007
    DLR - October 2011

Nice! This a good one because even though the show will fade away the setting and themes easily could stand on their own.
