For the first time ever, I got the chance to visit Club 33 the Thursday before the D23 Expo in Anaheim, and I thought I would share some of the photos I took there! I'll also include each of the five courses of the Vintner, as well as the different desserts that were had at my table. It was all amazing.
I also had the chance to get a tour of all of Club 33 as well as the Trophy Room, so I thought I would share some of those photos as well!
We wound up staying late and everyone at the Club had gone home, so we had the place to ourselves! It gave me a unique opportunity to get some shots while the place was nearly empty. Enjoy this private view of the famous Club 33!
A prop from Mary Poppins
The harpsichord, supposedly once played by Paul McCartney
Carved from a single block of wood!
Club 33 packing up for the night.. tablecloths removed!
And of course the best part.. the food! I'll break down in detail each dish of the five course Vintner, which changes throughout the year. The desserts, I have to say, were definitely the best part of this $85 meal. (Yes.. this isn't cheap that's for sure, but what a meal worth every penny.)
One of Club 33's drinks is a pineapple/grapefruit punch
Compliments of the Chef before the meal - a lobster tart I believe
First Course - Duck Confit, Raspberry Rice Pudding, Roast Shallot Confit, Hydro Watercress
Second Course - Spiced Rock Shrimp, Steamed Asparagus, Mango Sumac Salsa (the mango salsa was amazing.)
Third Course - Marinated Hanger Steak, Sweet Onion Brioche Turnover, Aromatic Hollandaise
Fourth Course - Regional Artisan Cheese (sharp white cheddar, brie, and the third I cannot recall but it was from Spain)
Fifth Course - Dessert! The menu listed Mascarpone Lemon Cheese Cake, Banana Foster's Caramel Reduction, however I had a Peach/Blueberry pastry a la Mode
Other desserts at our table included vanilla creme brulee, strawberry cobbler, and chocolates
Hungry yet? Let's take a look at the Trophy Room!
That's all I have for now... hope you enjoyed this look at the food and decor of Club 33! I may have a few other photos to share in this thread - stay tuned!
