Re: Flying to the Disneyland Resort for the first time.
our trip is coming up in october, and we just booked the DL express shuttle, and it is or at least was running a $9 each way.. adults ride at children's price.. we are coming from john wayne to the paradise pier. we have 9 people in our party, so i guess it would depend on the size of your group.

With 9 people it is hard to beat the value of the DL Express.
If I could get all of my party and luggage into one cab, I might do that. You can use a carpool lane most of the way and if you divide the cost by 2, 3 or 4 people, a cab is a pretty good value considering how quickly you get to DLR.

I apologize for hijacking the thread from the OP, but will a cab be able to hold three adults and one child, plus four pieces of luggage and a stroller?

No need for apologies. I'm sure many people could benefit from different questions.
By taking from what I've read, we'll probably just do a regular shuttle to the hotel and a cab back to the airport. The trip back is when we will be on a time table.
And to waltonmkb, a lot of cabs are minivans. So room shouldnt be an issue.
Re: Flying to the Disneyland Resort for the first time.
Following reading this thread, I think I will change my plans from the shared shuttle ($96 return) to the private one ($144 return). Ok its 50% more expensive but seems like a real benefit.
