    Yep. And the lighting on those pools at night was magical. Part of the incredible ambiance of the "Water World" theme of the DLH marina.

    Your memory is better than mine...now that you mention it, I do remember that plexi-glass covering and the piano as well.

    Thanks! I loved running around the hotel grounds as a kid. We always stayed there until the Marriott was around for a few years and my mom got into their rewards program. I do remember the next entrance over to the west of the piano pool there was a short set of stair just as you entered to the left. Like 8 stairs down that went to bathrooms and also had phones there. I think the phone company was PacBell but I also remember seeing a Disney logo that had to do with the phones as well. Almost like the AT&T world logo but with ears or something like it. Like they had their own phone lines or company division.
