Annual pass / fast pass question

Do you think an annual pass would work for fast pass if used on a blockout day?

and no... your pass would need to be scanned at the front gate in order for it to work in the park.

You can only get a fast pass with a ticket that has been scanned at the front gate when you enter the park. So you would not be able to use the pass that was blocked out to get a fastpass.

1 FP per guest, per entry ticket

That makes sense. I rarely use fp so I don't know the ins and outs.

Eh, I've been able to use a pass that wasn't scanned at the front before, but that was a few years ago...

(For the record, it was an accident. Had dear old dad's pass on me from the day before)

Re: Annual pass / fast pass question

When you get a blockout ticket, you will be asked to present it in conjunction with your AP anytime you go through the turnstiles or if you make a purchase that qualifies for an AP discount. The blockout ticket is what is scanned at the turnstiles, so THAT is the ticket that the FP machines will recognize. Your AP is only requested when it's for use to actually verify that it's really you. FP machines don't need to verify that. Turnstiles and cash registers (if getting the AP discount) do.
