the space mountain fast past return is longer than standby. Star tours is shorter, but the fast past que is still outside the building.

Did it go over the double digit time?

Weekends in October tend to get pretty crowded. The AP crowd descends upon the park to see all the Halloween offerings, with the inclusion of Gay Days which usually get a huge turnout, the Parks can get pretty packed.

Just because FastPass lines extend out the entrances of attractions does not equal a longer line. Stand By lines go through several switch backs before reaching the merge point, Fastpass lines go strait to the merge point. And you also have to remember FastPass lines have priority over Standby so those lines will move much quicker.

I've waited in a FastPass line for Space Mountain that extended out the entrance of the attraction and it only took 10min to reach the merge point.

I've learned to avoid the resort during October unless its during the week, but the weekends in October are just crazy insane. So many want to come for Halloween time and the weather is still really nice for the month.

The Halloween Party last night seemed more packed than last year too.

And don't forget, Mickey's Trick or Treat Party of Friday, shut down the larger park Disneyland, early. That forced guests without Special Party Tickets over to DCA, which already appears more congested due to all the construction for Buena Vista Street.

Quite frankly it was much better, to keep the special ticketed event in the smaller park. That gives the large capacity park a chance to soak up the larger Friday night crowds.

I am pretty sure that in about two years, after the new hype for DCA starts to go down, it will once again return to Disney California Adventure. Keep in mind that the park is going through many changes right now, and it can not have an after hours party due to the fact that it already has limited hours due to construction.

I was there today. BUSY like I have not seen in a while. Star Tours was almost an hour and a half when I was there at 7:30ish. I was in the fast pass line which took about 20-25 mins to board the ride (long i thought for what i'm used to waiting in that fast pass line). And it really depended on the time you went on, because at times the fast pass line got really long. It was definitely a busy gay day, but fun
