    Muppet's Live Character

If you've seen the Muppet show in DCA, then you will recal seeing one live performer in a costume, I don't know the character's name but he comes out with a flashlight searching for the rabbit. Man that has got to be boring! Anybody know if they have the characters who are there that day rotate and just do one show, or is it an actual shift and one or two people rotate out?

The Muppets never grow old for me. I saw the show 5 times in a row last week.

Just wondering how it's so boring... I've been watching the show since it started, never found Sweetums to be boring. Maybe not the best part of the show, but it does add another dimension to it.

Yes, his name is Sweetums and that is the best part of the show. It is not a part that you rotate into, but a part that Entertainment does. It is actually one of the roles that those with more senority in that area wish to work at. It's quite easy, and still fun puppet and character work. For me, it is my favorite part of the show because the animation can vary so much and it's always so unique and creative. I love it. Sweetums is my favorite Muppet.

I also think its a great show- probably our favorite at DCA. I guess if you have seen it numerous times, it might get old. My husband and I have find memories of watching the Muppet Show on TV as kids, so for us its such a cool expereince to "be" in the Muppet theater.

i was refering to it being boring for the cast member not the audience. sorry for the confusion.

    I love that part.
Last time we went, there were kids in the audience gasoping at that part - so cute!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I worked this attraction and yes it is caracters that do this it is a sceduled shift and usualy there is two on at a time that rotate how they want( every show every 2 shows every hour) at least thats how it was when it first opened. they have lots of fun with it and play with the cast membeers sitting in the jump seat sometimes.
