Agreed. The hat should go...and they can take that ridiculous "Partners" statue along with 'em.

Every time I see this hat I shake my head I think it is pretty ugly. And to add i don't believe i have ever seen anyone wear it.
I have to admit that was in very poor taste. Even though it does have an actual saying by Walt Disney itself, I think it's ridiculous to put him on a hat. It does no justice to him and his legend at all and it's a poor execution.
Just something to think about...when was the last time you ever saw a full on photo of Walt, or even a drawing of him say, on a t-shirt at the parks? I am willing to bet never, maybe. I can't remember any from past 10 years at least that I saw.
Seems like it was a unspoken thing that such was too 'casual' or not respectful...so I'd chalk this up to a lapse in judgement, hopefully not to be repeated. It's a pretty ugly hat, even without the kind of Monty Python cheesy floating Walt head on it. Not very dignified.
poor taste....no.
lazy, uninspired design....definitely.
"The old man's gonna knock on the sky. Listen to the sound."
I saw that hat and it sure is ugly. I think they can do better than that.
I'm told that legacies get asked to pledge automatically.
"The old man's gonna knock on the sky. Listen to the sound."
The hat reads, "It was all started by a mouse."
The quotation is: "It all started with a mouse."
Whoever approved the design should have their employment terminated. That hat is an embarrassment, and it shows absolutely no concern for the trademark's goodwill and prestige.
