Redwood Creek Challenge Trail Refurbishment

Anyone know what will be involved in this supposed "major refurbishment"? Thanks.

I heard they wanted to move to the sub lagoon.

But first, they'll test it in the SLL/Monsters show building.

They will be replacing much of the rope structures in the area.

They did this once before, and is part of a regular maintenance schedule.

Basically Disney doesn't want to get sued, so they replace the ropes before they break.....

So just like the boat rides get a yearly refurb to allow the boats to be removed from the water and allowed to dry, then patched and resealed, the Challenge area has a regular rope replacement schedule.

Thanks. I guess the idea of a "major refurbishment" led me to hope that it might be something more noticeable.

Lol Like when they added the Brother Bear stuff?

Those ropes hurt. I fell there a couple times last week and my knees are bruised up lol.

I've fallen through the ropes too but I was to blame for that I believe because I was wearing flip flops that kept falling off. I was very proud of my Disney bruise.
