Re: Does Disney blacklist anyone from the parks?

People get blacklisted for stalking, harassing, etc the characters. In the situations I've heard of, they were given warnings prior, but most were so obsessed i guess they didn't care at that point, or they assumed Disney really wouldn't do anything? I can't imagine WHY after warnings that people would continue to do the very same thing, and then be shocked when their pass gets taken away.
But just like what everyone else said, you can be black listed for all sorts of reasons, basically anything that is very dangerous, violent, wrong, illegal, and/or breaks the magic is a very bad way (they take breaking the magic VERY seriously).

The same goes for any company. If a company fires you, they can make it so that you are never hired again in any incarnation of their business.

Anyone can be banned. If it's filed with court system, they never have to see your buttocks again.

Man, I love this thread! I keep checking back to see if a friend of a friend has committed some egregious violation to get banned from the park. Ha ha!

I've been blacklisted before - only for 24 hours. It's kind of terrifying to see Disney bike cops descend on you, but they only took down my name, ID info and AP info and turned me lose. I'd imagine you'd have to do something really bad to get permanently banned.

does anyone have any pictures/video of any incidents? Im just really curious to see how security handles an issue like that since ive never witnessed anything like that in or around the parks.

My dad and his friend were banned in the 70s because they dropped a cherry bomb in the Matterhorn from the Skyway ride. Security was waiting for them at the end and they were detained. My grandma had to go pick them up and she was excited to use the back entrance to Disneyland but they weren't excited to see her! I should also add that my dad has been back to the park since then so unless you're a well known person I don't think someone who is banned will stay banned forever.

It's not really a "blacklist", but they issue trespass citations. There probably won't be any photos/videos of this as it usually occurs after the Guests have been escorted backstage to the security offices. I know one of the repeat-offenders that many CMs know by name finally got a trespass and got her AP revoked about a week ago after her not-really-a-service-animal dog (once again) bit a CM.

I wonder how they deal with people who are on the US terror list? Obviously, they would be banned from Disneyland, but since no picture or other ID is required to buy a ticket, there would be no way to enforce it.

I was going to put the same thing but I didn't want to sound rude about it.

I dont think spending a day at Disneyland would be a high priority for anyone on that list.

Re: Does Disney blacklist anyone from the parks?

has anyone heard of anyone getting busted or ejected from the park for cutting in line? I see it happen regularly and wondered what a CM would do if I told them. I know at places like Knotts and Six Flaggs they have signs at every que telling you that cutting in line or saving places in live is strictly forbidden and will cause for your immediate eviction from the park.

I've seen Knotts enforce it before. While waiting for Ghost Rider some lady and her friend were apparently holding a place in line for others because once we reached the upper area before the loading zone 4 more people pushed their way through the line from who knows where and so instead of only two people ahead of me there were now six. The couple behind me made a stink about it and told one of the ride ops about it and they were pulled aside before boarding and moments later security showed up and they were escorted out. Don't know if they were taken out of the ride or the park.

That is one of my pet peeves. People who don't keep their group together and then think its o.k. for them to join the rest of the party all the way ahead in line when the correct and courteous thing to do is let others pass you by till you join your friends at the rear of the line, which I have seen happen a few times.
