I have seen Fantasmic a few times and I like it. I agree the croud it attracts is just insane, but it has 1 redeaming feature.

IT CLEARS THE REST OF THE PARK OUT!!! During the shows, its the best time to hop on crouded rides since it will take the lines down by 50%! Then after the show a good portion of the people leave. Even less lines!

All of us have most likley seen it more times then we can count, so missing it is not a big deal. But a 10 min line on the Matterhorn is! Just dont be near Mainstreet or Fronteerland when the show ends.

They get paid very little to make your experiance more memoriable and if asking you to get off a wall or keep moving makes them a fascists then my goodness I think our society is full of fascists...

Perhaps it was your choice of words. I associate fascism with really really awful stuff, not minium wage employees. It is an over used word, which people do not appreciate the gravity, depth and meaning of.

Yeah you are probably right. I was really refering to the situation they are put in with that whole mess over there. I know that it isnt them, I really like the cast members. We have on several occasions made trips to city hall to leave compliments when they go above and beyond. I dont like the situation though and like I said it is the situation that causes disharmony.

I take back the fascism remark for all you cast members

And its not all the guests either in fact it is a small percentage.

Hey, Videopolis was the ONLY reason I went to DLR when I was 16. I saw Nu Shooz there on Grad Night 1990!!! :-p

I know I'm going to catch a lot of flak, but from the time I was 4 years old, I've thought America Sings was the biggest waste of time. I also thought *prepares for flurry of flames* that the Tiki Room was a big waste of time, too. And that's a show I visited from early childhood until college. I just never got it.

Of the moving rides, I never had the joy of riding Superstar Limo, but I bet I woulda voted for that. My vote has to go to Pooh. It's such a waste, and it took out the country bears, which I loved.

Commence flaming for my blasphemy about the Tiki Room. Ooooh, Pineapple juice for sale.... :-)

    America Sings.

First of all, it replaced the Carousel of Progress, my all-time favorite.

Second, what the heck was the point of it? Didn't we get enough singing wads of cuteness over at it's a small world? And what was it doing in Tomorrowland? How would this attraction inspire me to see the promise and challenge of the future?

    Just my opinion, of course.

The problem with stuff like Aladdin's Oasis is that it serves such a small purpose-the whole re-telling the story crap. Let the kid see the movie at home & they've been doing that all over the park. The Princesses tell their own story in that one Fantasyland shop. This leaves the kids in there for about a half an hour looking at stuff they can whine to their parents to buy. When they did rehad on Tome Sayer Island what did they make room for??? Tome and Huck storytelling! Let the kid read the freakin' book!!!!! It's all such a waste of space again taking away from the "whole family" aspect.

Yes, because goodness forbid you state an opinion and the reasoning behind it. Shame on you!

I'd have to say that Rocket Rods was a pretty bad decision. HISTA is a one-time thing, too. Innoventions is just... sad and pathetic.
