Oh please, how can you call it an era? Yes certainly maybe something significant in the history of the Disneyland Hotel - but an era? Optimism optimism optimism... they aren't exactly that nice. No offence to anyone who likes them, everyone is entitled to their opinion - just like Disnerd. Sorry if I caused offence...

I've always had a great time there, many happy memories. Is sad for the facade to lose the original look. Wonder how much they want for the D -
    upper or lower case?

I think it's kinda sad too. Just like when the replaced the front entrance sign for the Park.

    That was just the worst

I have a picture of the old entrance sign and in lights it says
DISNEYLAND WISHES A HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TINA

    I love it

For a while, The Disney Catalog was offering personalized photos of the marquee where they would do stuff such as that... much cooler than the get-well toys they have now.

Well they are probably going to be bought by collectors I bet. I mean only the people who really want them bad, will pay the huge sum....and people likely to do that are collectors. So it may not be that bad. I mean it is better in the hands of someone who still wants it rather than being locked in storage collecting dust.

Uhm... It's a sign... No offence, but it's a sign.. Maybe they'll redo the entire facade, and give it a new sign... Ah shucks, maybe the hotel will look nicer.... No offence to anyone, but it isn't the nicest thing to look at, I'd rather focus on Disneyland, then a hotel... It's just a sign!!!!!!!

    Very sad
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
