    Thanks Mike!

Yeah....it's been a bad year for rain so far. I'm hoping that we get better luck in Feb and March. Most of my rain shots are from before the Christmas break and that one storm that we finally got last Monday. I was positive that they would just cancel the parade when I was there as it was really beginning to rain, but they went ahead and let it go without any stops and without any choreo. Fastest parade I've ever seen in my life. It was like they were racing. I had no idea the floats could go that fast!

Thanks Chris. There were several spots up there that just BOUNCED when people would climb up the stairs or crossed that bridge, but that spot in the middle of the tree was a bit more stable. On my last night of shooting up there, I was almost kicked out by some CM's who were apparently on autopilot, doing their usual spiel of kicking everyone out before Fantasmic. When I mentioned there WAS no Fantasmic, they just stared at me for a second and then said "Nevermind." I wish I could get up there for Fantasmic, but there's something about getting hit in the face by a laser that isn't appealing to me. Bummer that once that show starts up again, they close off the Tree before the fireworks.

I love those fireworks shots from places you'd never think to shoot from!

Thanks DPG! That means a lot as I regard you as the king of finding new and unusual things to shoot in the parks.

Thanks Pengy. I headed up on this particular weekend as the Horsetail Falls are only lit up for the last two weeks of February each year. Here's the shot I got on Friday night:

Thanks, my7dwarves! Sometimes my photos make me want to cry as well, but that's mostly after I forgot something and missed/ruined the shot as a result.

I'm hoping to get one more set of shots up before Winter is officially over.

Very nice capture. I've never been to Yosemite in the winter, only been the other three seasons.
