    HARK! in the Park 3.0

Hey all!!! My friends and I are about to embark on yet another year of tacky christmas sweater goodness on New Year's Day making this our 4th year in a row! We invite you to come out this year wearing Christmas cheer for all to see! So what if its after Christmas? All the more tackier We'll be meeting around the castle at 2pm for a nice big family portrait! If you see us around the park, say HARK!!!

We also launched our site HARK! in the Park - Theme Days at Disneyland to document all future themed day events such as Crayon Day, Patriotic Day, and so many more that are in the works! Follow us on twitter @HARKinthePark for updates!

Check out the movie trailer for the chilling Holiday classic of your life!
    The HARKLERS!

Let’s take a look from this past year’s HARK! in the Park 3.0. The sweaters seemed to have transformed us to take on different personas. Let me introduce you to the cast of characters!

Here we have me, Miss Stephiee as the uppity substitute teacher with my adopted child. Don’t you think my wooden tree necklace and pins are things that a teacher would wear? It’s very crafty.

Hayden is everyone’s favorite “Cool Dad”! He’s wearing fun yet sensible khakis with comfortable sneakers. He knows we’ll be doing a lot of walking throughout the day.

I took some of my favorite students on a field trip to Disneyland! YAY! One of them thinks she’s a turtle-dog. She’s a special one. Say hello to my fourth graders Tweetie, Jenny Rae, Chrissa, and Stephanie!

Hark in the Park 3 by dollybeast, on Flickr

This was a bit awkward. Cool Dad brought his jailbait girlfriend, Bebe. I don’t know why he thought it’d be a good idea to invite me, his mistress on the side, along with my students. Oh how the plot thickens…

Hark in the Park 3 by dollybeast, on Flickr

Grandma Tiffie & her neighbor Jacqui showed up!

And our angry adolescent teen, Irene, who was there against her own will. She’s too cool for school, but secretly I know she had fun that day.

This is my face when I am impressed! My friends constantly amaze me with their fantastic outfits!

Don’t be jealous Tweetie, you have a festive owl sitting on top of your head!

I believe Jenny Rae is wearing a Santa dog cape. Thumbs up! She gets seal of approval. If you join us for a themed day, you better go all out! The more ridiculous, the better! We encourage it!

Re: HARK! in the Park 3.0

you guys are so great! feeling the love! CONTINUING ON!

    Into the Fashion of Tacky...

Once in your outfit, I guarantee you’ll feel the urge to smile awkwardly. It kinda completes the look. And thank you neighbor for covering your door with Christmas wrapping paper! This makes for the best backdrop!

Up on the rooftop and out the sunroof…

Christmas Cat Lady is crazier than you think! It’s those shifty goggly eyes you gotta watch out for…

A wreath necklace gives you both Christmas spirit and street cred with the likes of Flava Flav.

Who needs glass slippers when you can have embroidered Santas on velvet?!

She’s been on the naughty list one too many times. But Santa still loves her!

I am proud to say our headpieces were amazingly stable as they have surpassed the speeding turmoil of Space Mountain & Big Thunder!

    See? Everyone’s intact.

I think we’re blowing you a Christmas kiss. Just take it.

Wind-blown hair complements my outfit and face so well.

It might be drizzling but that doesn’t stop the spirit! YEAH!

Look ma! No Hands! Our towering headgear functions to hold our ponchos up high.

    ONE OF US!

Look at this dashing woman in her adorable gingerbread sweater! We are obviously on the same wavelength when it comes to good taste in holiday apparel. Huzzah!

I’ve no clue why we decided to take mini family portrait photos by only the letters N andR. But so have you. Maybe someone can come up with a clever holiday meaning for this weird acronym.

    We're a Bunch of Characters!

We are a varied bunch of friends. We don’t discriminate whether you’re human, rodent, dog, or just plain mad. We accept all those with holiday spirit!

    Our superstar idol, SANTA!

    CHRISTMAS FORMATION!!

With such a big group it’s good to have a “go-to” pose. Someone yells “FORMATION”and everyone assumes their position. The end product is quite nice and enables us to take group photos with ease!

There's a HARK in my Hunny Pot!

The best class field trip photo.

    Aren’t my students precious?

My adopted child is 100% adorable!

    Embarrassing Family Moments
Even though we’re friends, we’re more like family. And sometimes our family embarrasses us.

You’re not my dad! You can’t tell me what to do!
This lil one is already giving snarky looks to older authority.

Grandma’s excitement elicits great frowns of fury.

Don’t worry, she still thinks you’re a Cool Dad!

    Be careful though, she’s a biter…

Oh you got something on your cheek sonny!

    our little princess!

probably wishing for a less embarrassing family…hahaha NOT!

In the end, We’re all in this TOGETHERRRR! (ahem High School Musical reference if that wasn’t obvious)

    The Big Thunder Staredown

Who’s ready for Big Thunder?! Say HARK!

Action photos are both frightening and entertaining!

So what’s the staredown? Face your partner and don’t lose eye contact with them through the entire duration of the attraction. You’ll either experience an intimate connection with your ridemate or suffer dry eye through an extremely awkward 3 1/2 minute roller coaster ride.

    someone is losing focus…

Eye on the prize…What’s the prize? I dunno, there is none. But our intensity is amazing!

    It must SMELL like Christmas!
We look like we jumped out from a Christmas dream. We ring of Christmas cheer (literally, we’re wearing bells!). Now we must smell like Christmas! But how?? Luckily Bebe had fresh baked cookie scented perfume.
Get ready to smell like the holidays!! Enter the mist!

    Ready position!

    And gooooo!!!

    GOOOOOO!!!!!

Thanks Bebe! We all smell delicious now… Now I want cookies!!!

    HARK Terrors

This is what happens when you OD on Harks…

    Cool Moves Dad...

I don’t know about you, but there’s a air of confidence in guys who can rock knitted sweaters with khakis.
Cool Dad is an endless river of smooth moves. Let’s take a ride.

C’mon, you know you want a piece of this too.

    He’s in the zone…

As the sun sets, don’t fret! Our Christmas cheer continued as we turned on our Christmas lights! You didn’t think the nighttime meant we turned off our tacky holiday glory did you?! Worry not! We wanted to ensure our sweaters were enjoyed by everyone at all times of the day!

In the Night, Let there be LIGHT!

    Shine on my babies…

    They’ve got…that’s right, The Spirit.

    Glowing while texting…

Thank you Target for your wonderful lightweight LED battery operated lights!

We will always be seen…and heard…

    Let’s pretend it’s snowing…instead of raining

Small World is the best celebration of a tacky sparkly Christmas! We approve!

One more family photo by the great tree

and to all a good night! Can’t wait for Hark in the Park 4.0!!

Hark in the Park 4.0 is TODAY!!!
If you're willing to brave the crowds and put on a beautiful knitted holiday sweater, please come!! HARK if you see us

We'll be updating our site http://harkinthepark.com so check it out!! You'll get much more frequent updates than waiting for me to post here :P
