Do the CM's have to regularly refill the fog machines or is that done by maintenance?
Also, would anyone here know what type of fog juice they use? It has a very unique smell I haven't experienced with other atmospheric substances.

You can "scent" fog many ways with an additive.
Most likely, Disney, being in the business, uses the "real" stuff. which is Rosco. But they might use others. (Rosco is probably the largest stage/lighting theater supply manufacture)
But all "fog juice" is is Propylene glycol and Water. Rosco sells all kinds of scents you mix into it.
I'm familiar with the additives available. I don't get the impression it's been scented, that seems unnecessary.
I've recreated similar smells when clearing old liquid out of machines that have been stored a long time (still full of course, which is terrible for them) Rosco is what I was looking for.
