New strollers at the park Update
Hello all I noticed they busted out the new strollers. These ones look so much safer.I do like them a lot more then the others. They are still using the old ones.
They have the same old wheel chairs no change there that I saw.
Here are a few pictures

Re: New strollers at the park Update
YEA! New logo! Now we need it on the Trash Cans. ;)
Actually, the re-design looks much more comfortable for the little 'uns.
Re: New strollers at the park Update
Ya know you are right MM, those seats look a little wider and not so cramped. Whenever some kids sit in those they look like a turtle trying to come out of their shell because the kids shoulders are right up against their face.;)
Re: New strollers at the park Update
Yeah, and their legs are so tightly together, that they look like they have to go to the bathroom!
Thanks CL!

Oh, that's the New one that hit the Wolfette yesterday.....I recognize it now!
Really did happen, but they do look a bit more comfy for the litte ones, now just get the drivers to use them with a bit more caution.
Re: New strollers at the park Update
I have not been hot with a stroller or wheel chair or stroller in years. I cannot even remeber the last time, btu I'm very aware of my surroundings and avoid them when I see them around. However, my daughter is in her own little worls sometimes and she gets bumped around alot and she did get hit by a scooter once, but she was not watching where she was going...LOL
Re: New strollers at the park Update
We were leaving the Parade, mind you very crowded, the people who hit her said she cut them off (could have been), but everyone was cutting everyone off. I just turned around and gave them the glare look, no harm done.

Does Disneyland have the Double Strollers same as WDW ?
Re: New strollers at the park Update
Is it evil of me to think strollers should be scrapped all together ..... okay maybe its just my bruised shins talking from the amount of time i have been run over ..... or the fact that the mothers of the stroller brigade think they rule the pathways.
Yes i am a bitter bitter woman today.

Nah, you're a SMART woman! I'm glad you think that way, no strollers would be amazing! My parents rule was no Disneyland until I was old enough to walk the entire day to enjoy things and REMEMBER going to the park (I see waaaayy to many super young children who are crying or just don't care at all where they are).
On topic, I do like the new stroller design though, just wish 99% of the mom's pushing them wouldn't act like they own the entire walkway, or stop on a dime switching directions then get all b****** when you trip over their stroller/kid. I love the "glare look", I always put on a huge fake smile back and say "Have a GREAT day, glad I don't have kids!!" :yea:
Can't wait to see the replies, and bad reputation marks I get, it's fun... :mob:
"Mad Mom's in Minivans!" (saying from a local radio station, lol)

Re: New strollers at the park Update
What are the chains for? Security, so no one steals them?
In all of the years that we have been there with a stroller, we have never been a victim of theft, or even a victim of temporary "joyriding" of any of our strollers (rented or personally owned).
I did notice, a few weeks ago when we were there, this gentleman carrying a bike lock with him, but he didn't have a bike! (or a stroller). It was one of those heavy cable type. I watched him as he coiled it up and put it in his backpack. That thing must have been heavy. We couldn't figure out what he needed it for???
Is rented stroller theft that big of a problem that folks need to bring cable/chain locks with them??? I know that when we rented one, they always told us that if ours was "misplaced" we could easily just ask for a replacement by showing them our receipt.
I though that we were "Park educated" since we knew about why the single shoes were on display throughout the Park (as talked about in another thread), but this has me stumped...
