Rides in need of major renovation

As the DCA's Major Ovarhaul completes at July, we seriously need more guests in the parks..that is renovating the entire park and fixing up the stuff thats broken in rides. What are your ideas?? Mine... are

    -Fixing Indiana Jones Adventure
-Replacing Fantasyland Darkrides animatronics with REAL animatronics like Little Mermaid
    -Bringing the Peoplemover back
-A Major OVerhaul of the Autopia
    -Fixing Muppet Vision 3D
-Replacing the Fantasyland Theatre with something new

What's wrong with Muppetvision?.. The people mover doesn't hurt anything it's purpose has just changed from fun relaxing attraction to a good source of shade. I agree though that something needs to be done with it. The fantasyland theater will eventually get a new show according to multiple reports so idk why it needs to be on the list since it will happen. Disney isn't going to replace the fantasyland figures just because of mermaid. If they were going to do that they would have done it when pirates opened. The figures are fine and no way disney will dish out millions to change them out.

    My list would be

    1. Indiana jones
    2. California Screamin' queue redo and possible renaming +removal of all those ugly sun emblems all over the pier.
    3. Facade redo of Hollywoodland attractions/stores.
    4. New lobby and facade for Hyperion theater.
    5. Replacement or at least a new facade for Monsters inc.
    6. New cars/ track layout for autopia.
    7. Something new to take place of Magic Eye theater. (I'd prefer a restaurant then TLT could be demolished and build a new building to house a new attraction.)
    8. Fort Wilderness to be reopened to guests but housing a new table service restaurant.
Check out my Disney inspired creations.

last time i went indy was looking pretty good. All the fire looked like it was on and in good quantity, the animatronics were working fine and if the ride operator had let us out a bit later, the door in the chamber of destiny would have worked right.

I think its a small world needs a lot of the animatronics replaced or restored. The whole ride could use a good cleaning.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

I agree with ^. People on here are always talking about "fixing" Muppetvision, when honestly, I think it's the best looking 3D film in the park.

I'd rather have the AA's in the Fantasyland Dark rides than what is in Mermaid.

While I'd love to see an upgrade of Indy, the ride that could use the most work is Autopia. It takes up a lot of real estate for very little thematic return.

    I agree.

Having seen World of Color last night. Put WOC on the top of my list, that is in bad shape and needs an extended (3+ Month) refurb.

Haunted Mansion needs one. in the stretching room the wall paper looks horrible, the floors are gross, there was a splatter mark for over 2 months last year in the ballroom "glass". the doombuggies need a paintjob. the hitchhiking ghosts could use a tune up

in the start of 2012 ive noticed alot of lighting changes in the mansion and thats a great start

Roger Rabbit. Just fixing the whole ride. Everytime I go there, it is broken down and the people who had Fastpasses for the ride are disappointed.

Did they ever fix the paint job on Monstro the whale at Storybook Rides? Last year there was a major paint tear on his forehead.

Doing anything with the Peoplemover track would be great but very pricey I think. If I recall the Rocket Rods ended up doing a lot of structural damage to the track. They would most likely have to pull up the entire thing and start anew.

Another vote for Indy. I'd also love to see a revamp of Buzz Lightyear. The ride vehicles always seem to look worn out with chipped paint, and if they were to redo the course, I think they'd have people flocking back to the attraction.

Indy. I only visit a week a year, so that one time I saw every effect work like 2 years ago I was amazed. It felt like a whole new ride.

I wish they could have it work as great as that ride was all the time.

Also Big Thunder rocks on the last lifthill need to be upgraded so they can turn them on again. I hate that they are stationary.

Something should be done with the Innoventions building.
"You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer."

Re: Rides in need of major renovation

    1. Indiana Jones Adventure needs a major overhaul and could use upgrades with state of the art technology and new effects. The queue needs some work with repainting, especially in the cave where golden paint has worn away a long time ago. The attraction just looks tired and worn after 17 years of service.

    2. Space Mountain - The queue is in bad shape and could use upgrades. The mountain itself should be restored again with strobe light and all. I wouldn't mind having more effects inside the mountain.

    3. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage - needs draining, repair, and painting. Ideally a theme change would occur.

    4. Alice in Wonderland

    5. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - Needs to go down for painting and tuning.

    6. Splash Mountain - Animatronics not functioning in all areas of the attraction.

    7. The Haunted Mansion - Minor issues with the elevators squeaking. I think it's time for animatronic and sound technologies to start improving on this attraction.

    Shows:
World of Color needs to get its effects back in order, including the projection globes.
