About those trees with the pink blossoms at the Hub... Are they cherry trees?

Yep, Japanese blossoming cherry trees.

Actually, that's not quite true. This particular tree is called Tabebuia and has blossoms in either pink or yellow. More at this link:

You can find them all around Orange County, especially around the Yorba Linda area during early Spring Months.

And yes, I originally found this out on Micechat a few years back.

Funny you mentioned that. I've been calling it that because I saw it in one of your captions a couple weeks ago. I didn't even check to see if that was an actual type of tree! I just trusted you knew what you were talking about because it seemed like such an obscure name that, to know the name, you HAD to know what it actually was (hopefully that makes sense).
