Disney In HDR (and Some Panoramas)

    Hello Everyone!

I spent most of my time in the parks with my new camera today and was messing with my favorite feature... HDR.

For those of you who don't know what this is, it's where the camera quickly takes three images (one of the low lights, one of the medium, and one of the highs). The camera then electronically stitches these together to give you one vibrant image.

With that said, let's jump into it...

I usually don't care for shots of the resort unless they're my own, but these are amazing.

It's a Sony SLT-A65VK DSLR with the standard lens.

Takes images at 24.6 megapixels (or something like that).

So it has an auto-bracketing feature? That is cool, for $1,000 camera it should. Nice photos!

Very nice! I use a Sony A33 DSLR Camera myself and the HDR is great for World of Color. The last panorama shot seems a bit messy towards the right of it, but thats usually a result of people moving as the camera takes the panorama.

Great photos, as well as some very impressive panorama shots! I have the SLT-A55 and find the auto HDR functionality very useful however I've been able to get stunning results from 3rd party software like Photomatix. With Photomatix I can shoot using the .7 auto bracket functionality in my A55 and then import the RAW file images into the software to produce images like the one below. Photomatix is costly but I was lucky enough to find it for half the price on ebay. You may want to check it out if HDR is something that you really like doing.
