Angry Look at what they did to the Golden Horseshoe!

OMG! Why did they paint the GH that awful pumpkin color? I got a good look at it from the Columbia and was appalled by what I saw.

Do you feel the same way? What is, in your opinion, the least-attractive building in the DLR?

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.

"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations, the new needs friends." - Anton Ego

I think it looks nice. It looks like it's golden now. Maybe on an overcast day it doesn't have the same look as when it's sunny?

Looked fine to me last time I was there, and in photos.

I actually like the color it is right now
Now the ugliest building has to be Monsters Inc. at DCA

I would quite agree about Monsters. I like the graphic design style of the character art on it's own, but the facade is just....a big pile of stuff. Doesn't look like a building or match the area.

I think it looks okay. Perhaps it looks a tad too new at the moment to match the rest of the surrounding theme. My vote for ugliest DLR building goes to the one that houses Autopia's queue.

I love it. I think once it gets some age on it, it'll be awesome. I hope they're going to give more areas of Frontierland a little push towards this direction so we're actually going back in time rather than visiting the ghost town it is now.

This is back in November of 2010. I didn't notice if it is a different color now.

I've always hated the backside of the Buzz Lightyear building, facing Matterhorn.

I agree with Grizzly. The backside of BLAB is the ugilest spot in DL.

The color used to be white. Now I think it looks gorgeous and really enhances the golden aspect of the building. I think it looked worse before but that's just my opinion. As far as ugliest facade. I have to agree with back side of Astro Blasters, they really should fix that area.

Is the color the remainder of the 50th Golden Anniversary? They painted a lot of things that were there in 1955 gold. Was the Horeshoe one of them?
