Re: "Brave" characters coming to Disneyland Park

Here is a short video of Merida. It did not go as well as I hoped but you can tell she did not have a heavy accent.
Very fun to meet, and the Bears pop up in the middle. Like Rapunzel, Merida is beautiful in person. DL Casting did a great job. The assistant cast members also use an accent!

    1. If you stand in line you meet Merida and then do archery.

    2. Without standing in line you can visit the wheel to find out your fate, color using stones with raised images, color a picture of Angus, and play bean bag.

If the line for Merida was long, did this help make Rapuzel's wait quicker?

Thanks for sharing! I think that was the Merida my 4 year old daughter and I met today, too.

Merida is gorgeous in person. (That sounds really creepy, doesn't it?) She was fantastic, and my daughter loved her! Her accent was good, without being over the top. (I have a coworker from Scotland, and the first few weeks he worked for me, I knew he was speaking English, but could only understand every 4th word).

DL casting did a fantastic job!

Here's Merida, as she greeted us:

Merida asked my daughter to pose like this:

Here's a couple of close ups of them interacting:

And yes, the cast members are all speaking with accents. The men are wearing kilts, too (which is awesome!):

By 2:30 this afternoon, the line was down to about 30-45 minutes.

We waited about the same for Rapunzel today, too.

Hmmmmmm...Disney's/Pixar's newest princess, Merida, looks like Ariel with a wild perm!

WHAAAAT?! That had BETTER be a scenario in the movie!! Any trip down the aisles of Toys R Us or The Disney Store right now tells you that those bears are some how her family members!! (I'm trying to avoid all things "Brave", as I usually do when I plan to see a movie in the theater!)

Maybe they don't to spoil a plot line from the movie before it opens?

She's staying in her meet and greet as far as I know. I think she's joining the other Princess's when they move to the Carnation Gardens.
