Now you can walk for 2 hours before you walk for 15 hours. Cool!
And based on that video, I'd say that was a pretty slow, less than thrilling, power walk. A real power walk should be twice that speed.
Seriously, though, that does look fun. Will be even better once Cars Land is done.

Still, you can Power Walk At The Disneyland Resort!
On the official blog post a good question was asked but not answered. Will it still happen in the Summer? It happens currently in DCA because the park is not opening for a while after. What if DCA changes to 8am openings and has Magic Mornings like DL.
Start Your Day With a Power Walk at the Disneyland Resort « Disney Parks Blog
Pretty much did something similar every vacation at DL. At least during early morning hours. Not officially endorsed of course. Now however, the Power walking needs to happen before a vacation to get in shape so that it's easier to survive.
You gotta walk faster than that if you're going to win the Gumball Rally. Just sayin;)
I want to do this for the simple reason of being in the park before it opens haha
That's slow, Being a fast walker means you can get to Toy Story first. I remember back in October we waited to be at the front of the rope drop at DCA. I walked faster than people could run, while they were getting yelled at to slow down I got complemented on my "Power Walk". Was first in line for Toy Story Mania by at least 150ft feet.
When I read power walk, I was imagining something more like this
HOnestly, you get that much exercise walking around at the park all day. :D I think someone on here said they took a pedometer to DLR one day and it clocked in at eight miles or so after the day of walking. :)
I'd love to do this to be in the park when it's closed, though. It would be good training for next year's Tinker Bell Half Marathon weekend!
OOOOOH! You beat me to it.

I don't understand this. If you are walking miles upon miles upon miles in a single day, why the heck would you want to power walk for 2 hours???
